3 Bedroom, 1 bath Lakefront cabin. Completely updated recently. Nature is abundant in this country setting surrounded by the sounds of frogs, birds singing, swans, beaver, musk rats and fishing. The cabin sits on a small 4 lake chain that is known for its privacy and being a NO wake and fishing sanctuary. You can relax with a book, kayak, or just tune in to the best that nature has to share with us, or perhaps remind us how far we have journeyed into the matrix of chaos.

Bedding, strip sheets/pillow cases only. Leave mattress cover on bed.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We had a quick two night trip to end summer break. The check in was great, Wi-Fi worked wonderful, the house was exactly like the pictures. Just to know the water pressure is extremely low, I understand this is kind of common among lake houses. But I didn’t see it previously mentioned, and not a deal breaker for me. The deck was awesome to grill and enjoy dinner at sunset. We enjoyed the pontoon and kayaks. Very nice.

A woodland oasis.

We stayed in early April and were greeted with an array of wildlife the Duck's and Geese were all over the lake as well as two beautiful swan's, we also saw a heron and a beaver near the dock. It was a great getaway and we look forward to staying again!

Relaxing!

Super clean inside, we caught fish and enjoyed the wildlife. The Swans had babies and lots of birds to watch! We would definately recommend this location to friends.

Nice place to relax and enjoy some lake time

Great place to stay and relax. We rented the pontoon also and really enjoyed having that, along with kayaks. Owners are very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Thank you!

Perfect for the family

I stayed here with my family (including the doggos) and we had an amazing time. The location is quiet, peaceful, and so so pretty. The hosts were amazing and very communicative, super responsive to any questions/requests. We spent most of the time fishing and kayaking, the lake is perfect for both. We actually had good luck fishing which never happens for us! lol will definitely stay here again

Wonderful place

If you can handle a lot of steps and having the bathroom upstairs, the place is great. Minor inconvenience for major view and peaceful setting. We really loved it here. The owners are really nice, too Hope to come back someday.

Nice quiet place

We enjoyed our stay. We are originally from the Reading, and still have family there. We wanted to be close by and have all the amenities this cottage had Vs staying in a hotel. It was a nice quiet place to stay. It was very clean and overall a great place. I bet it is even more amazing in the summer. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Relaxing place on the lake.

My family went for my husbands birthday weekend. We ended up having amazing weather. My son fished all weekend but didnt catch anything, the most amazing part was seeing a couple of beavers swimming in the lake around dusk. It was the relaxing weekend my family needed and we will definitely be back.

Great Place to Stay

Rhonda was great in answering our pre-trip questions and Al was a great host on site! The property is on a very natural chain of lakes. We rented the pontoon boat which was great! Though I caught no fish, my fish finder showed that there were thousands -- just not biting at that time. Very highly recommended -- we will go back for those fish :)

Quick getaway

Just as advertised. Lots of steps. Host was super friendly and helpful. Very nice place. Enjoyed our stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. A very quiet and rural area. Even the greeting committee ( the dogs next door) were friendly.

Serenity At Its Best

I can't say enough good things about this adorable lake house!!! It was the perfect escape for us. The house was recently remodeled; absolutely gorgeous. The views were and are breathtaking. The owners were on site a few times checking other properties and it was a pleasure to talk with them. Very warm and welcome. This is the place to be if you want seclusion and relation. We will be back!!

Fantastic Independence Day Lakehouse

My wife and two daughters stayed at this property over the 4th of July. Great location and even better sunsets! Loved having a bedroom for everyone, and appreciated having numerous options for activities. Neighbors didn't set off fireworks all night, which was great! However, mini-split A/C could use another head unit for the master bedroom. With only one headunit upstairs, we had to keep bedroom doors open to keep it cool during the night.,

Beautiful property with amazing views, tons of family fun awaits!

What a delight this property was for my family of 5. The cottage itself was tastefully updated and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The views from the back porch to the lake are perfect. We had a blast exploring the lake on the pontoon which we rented, but there are what seems to be endless kyacks, conoes and paddleboards that the owners include for free! Life jackets of all sizes are provided and stored neatly in the shed which gave us peace of mind on the lake. We will look forward to staying again in the future.

Hidden Gem!

We had such a great time with our stay. Such a hidden gem! If you are questioning renting the pontoon boat, this is a must! There is so much more to explore than just the lakefront that the property sits on (many hidden channels and smaller lakes). Absolutely beautiful! Lots of fun with the kayaks and fishing (we caught a few). Very quiet and relaxing time with the family. Will stay again when we are looking for a getaway! Another note, not sure about previous visitors having an issue with the grill lighting, it fired right up on the first try! Rhonda was very helpful and responsive when we had any questions. This is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of real life. 5 stars! Thank you Rhonda!

Nice place with a few issues

The vrbo accomdated 6 people and 4 dogs. I was grateful she allowed all 4 dogs. The house was nice and had a beautiful view. I did have issues that were addressed to the owner.However, i didnt mention the hairs on the bed sheets or the steps weren't sholved or salted. I always check every house for safety and cleaning issues. The bathroom shower stall was filthy with soap residue and hair, the mirror had marks, the wall had toothpaste marks, the sink and toliet had hairs and floor were dirty. I did speak with the owner and she apologized that she didnt have a cleaning lady anymore. She was even going to let me go next store to get cleaners. But I said no . I believe as host, she should have properly cleaned her rental.The white fridge had rust on the door. I understand she was dealing with life issues but she should have taken time and clean the vrbo. Besides the cleaning issues it was a nice place.

Everything was great! Loved sitting out in the morning with coffee watching the swan family. Would loved to have had a binder with instructions on how to operate DVD player and heat. But would definitely book again as I have family directly living across the lake!
