Great Stay

Thank you for sharing your beautiful place with us. It was the perfect place for our annual girls getaway where we could relax and have fun. Upon entering we all admired the beautiful unique handrails and stairs. It gave us the feeling of being in a mountain lodge. We throughly enjoyed the dock, the lake, the fire pit area, porches and outdoor amenities. The kayak and paddle boards were great fun. The place was clean and comfortable with all the necessary  kitchen implements. It definitely ranks five stars.

Absolutely perfect !!! Best vacation ever. Clean, beautiful and everything you need. 5 stars PLUS

My wife and I have traveled all over the United States and the world and previous to this trip Hawaii was our absolute favorite. We have been to Hawaii 6 times. But the Lakeview Lodge quickly became one of our absolute favorite places anywhere in the world. We came to visit our son and 2 granddaughters and had an overnight flight. We got to the lake house exhausted and early in the morning. Dane was so kind and easy to communicate with and allowed us in early so we could rest. When we opened the door we simply couldn’t believe just how amazing and beautiful this place was. In absolute awe and it was like that the entire 5 days we were there. The home, the lake, the dock, the views, the firepit, the amenities. Everything was perfect. Like a postcard. But what made it extra special was the kindness and great communication with the Hartungs and the easy booking process with the Evolve team. I could write an essay on how wonderful the place is and how great the people are. We will absolutely come back to visit our family very often and without a doubt this is where we will be staying. We are already planning for our next trip and want to stay even longer to enjoy the beauty it offers. Thank you to everyone involved in running such a great place including the housekeeping staff that do such a great job. But especially to Dane for being so kind to us. Thank you and see you soon!!

It's wonderful to know the house, lake views, dock, and firepit provided the perfect backdrop for your time with your family. It was a true pleasure hosting you, and we are looking forward to welcoming you back for your next family visit.

5 Days at Lake Murray

Nice cabin by beautiful lake. Awesome, clean property in a quiet neighborhood. Slept our party of eight comfortably but dining has seating for six. Kitchen/dining area needs more light, more cooking supplies, regular toaster ice maker in freezer repaired. We had an enjoyable time!

Great Lake Getaway

Nice house with beautiful private boat dock and incredible views from the deck! We enjoyed the firepit with supplied wood for our evening campfire. A short ~20 min drive to good restaurants and a little more for our visit to UCS. Highly recommend and definitely we'll be back.

Can't WAIT to go back!

This inviting retreat exudes a warm, classic lake home feel. The home was exceptionally clean and inviting. The outdoor balconies facing the lake were a great place to enjoy our morning coffee AND the lake view. The waterfront firepit was a perfect place to watch the sunset and wind down after our day's adventures. We even caught a fish off the beautiful dock! This quaint neighborhood with tall, mature trees provided a nice place for us to get out and walk off the meals we shared together. Our host was very responsive to questions and requests. We look forward to visiting again soon!

Nice stay

Stay was awesome!. Knowing it is on the lake, bugs outside are expected, but there were quite a few ants all around porch area and deck that needs ot be exterminated. And some curtains on all the windows would be great for kids to nap in darker rooms and not just the thin roll up blinds. Other than these recs, this place was awesome. I would update the resource book in the house with some rental info on boats/jet skis etc. and maybe have a few more "lake items", but overall a 5 star for sure. Thanks

Thank you for your feedback, Tammy. We understand that cleanliness is of utmost importance and we deeply regret that the home was not up to your expectations upon arrival. This is certainly not the level of service we strive to provide to our valued guests. Rest assured, we have taken your comments seriously and have addressed the matter with our cleaning crew to ensure this is an isolated incident. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to provide you with a much-improved experience in the future.
