Great place to stay. Very quiet area. Very friendly neighbors. Kayaks and paddle board usage was awesome. 2nd year we stayed here and hope to come back.
Peaceful and relaxing location. Lots of space for a group. More than enough space for our family of 4. Nice size yard to play yard games and shallow spot for kids swimming. Lots of lake toys including kayaks that we used daily. Board games, books, game room for rainy days. Large screened in porch for dining and sipping morning coffee/tea. We felt welcome and at home here. Would recommend and stay again in a heartbeat!
We stayed for a weekend to celebrate our mother’s 70th birthday. A rainy Friday night but plenty of games to keep us busy. Nicely stocked with paper products and cleaning products. Many great recreation options including kayaks and a paddle board. Would definitely recommend this property!
Great house with tons of beds. Plenty of cookware and utensils. The kayaks and paddleboard were also a nice add on. Would stay here again. Just know that this is on the very northern part of the lake and the water in back of the house is not very good for swimming due to it being shallow with lots of grass growing in it. You need to go further south on the lake to find good swimming areas, which is what we did on several days.
What a beautiful spot right on Lake George. We had two families here for a triathlon and loved having quiet play time on the lake and in the huge yard. The house was fully equipped for cooking, relaxing and playing. We had a baby, toddler and 8 year old and they all enjoyed it. Barbara was very responsive before and during our stay.
Beautiful house and property right on the lake. Dealing with the owners was a pleasure, house was clean and location is perfect for all lake activities. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Look forward to going back.

Fun 70th birthday get together for our friend Joe & his lovely wife Val. Great spot for having a nice relaxing weekend with family & friends. Barbara was a fantastic host responding quickly to questions & having the answers. Charlie H.
Loved staying at this property. Exactly as pictured and had everything we needed for a few days away. Rented a boat from Snug Harbor Marina, which was so convenient. The northern end of Lake George was quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a nice getaway on Lake George. The only thing I wish we had brought with us were a couple of blankets. The mornings were a little chilly on the porch and there were only two throw blankets to share. 10 out of 10!
Tom and I and our guests were all thrilled by Barbara and James’ home. Everything necessary for cooking our meals was available. The rooms were all lovely and comfortable. The weather was hot and steamy and the a/c kept us cool on the miserable days. The kayaks were a hit, fire pit was used many nights. Great game room/tv room upstairs was barely used since our younger grandchildren weren’t able to come, but they would’ve loved it!! Hosts were quick to answer any questions. Perfect house, great location. Neighbors very nice and also helpful. This is a wonderful rental. Thank you Barbara and James
We just spent a few wonderful days/nights at this serene gem of a house. We were 4 adults & 3 teenage kids. The house was perfect for our needs, we had plenty of space & didn’t even use all the beds. The house is super well equipped with everything you could possibly need including out door items too like kayaks, paddle board etc. My son loves to fish & caught many different fish right off the dock in the backyard. The marina with boat rentals is right across the water from the house. The house is clean, updated & beautifully decorated. It is situated on a really peaceful part of the lake. The hosts were beyond kind & so helpful in answering our questions about surrounding area & so easy to communicate with. This house was wonderful in so many ways & we would definitely come back again!

Anna we are so happy you and your family had a great time. Hope to see you again next year. Thanks for leaving the house so clean.
We had a really wonderful stay at this very comfortable house in Ticonderoga. The owner provided a code for the door lock, and getting into the house was very simple and easy. The three bedrooms were very nice, and each one had a window A/C. The bunk room had four bunks that would be very nice for children or teens. The upstairs living room had a beautiful view of the lake, plus a great couch, a smart TV, and fun games to play (plus its own A/C unit). The screen porch was also great, with a nice table, a couch and several chairs.
But the best thing about this house was the lake, and the beautiful back yard, the fire pit, the adirondack chairs, the three kayaks, and the shed filled with floaters and paddles. Our son spent most of his time out on the lake in one of the kayaks or the "floating hammock" (a large inflatable with a mesh bottom so it feels like you're floating in the lake with the lovely water all around you).
Yes, we had a great stay! The weather wasn't great, but that has nothing to do with this wonderful house. It was very hot, but sitting down by the lake, with the breezes blowing all around, made things so much better. We did get some storms coming through, but our son loved them (he lives in California, and they don't get thunderstorms). He took a lot of pictures of the lightning, and they're wonderful! I do recommend this house for a visit to Lake George and the town of Ticonderoga. Lots of good restaurants, too!
This was our second time staying at this property and it was as good as the first. From the location right on the Lake to the cleanliness and Amenities inside the home made for a Great Lake George experience. The owners are very gracious and always available to answer questions. We are looking forward to next year at the Lake !
Beautiful prpperty exactly as listed. House was very clean and had everything you needed for a family vacation. Owner was very accommodating and made you feel welcome.. Looking forward to staying again.
Beautiful home, new kitchen and baths, Great Lake decor and very well stocked with everything we needed and more!! The kitchen island was awesome for us to all cook and eat together! We made great use of the fire pit with the lake backdrop. The home was extremely clean as well as sheets and towels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners were very quickly responsive to any of our questions.
This property is amazing!!! It was beautifully remodeled, tastefully decorated, super clean and well equipped. There was plenty of space for myself, my two sisters and our husbands to spread out. The huge island in the kitchen was a wonderful spot for everyone to sit around for breakfast and dinner. This cute lake house cottage was right on Lake George and the owners were kind enough to allow us to borrow their kayaks and canoe for a peaceful lake experience. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely come back for another visit!
Thanks to Barbara and James
Sincerely,
Cheryl Farrington
