Turou Retreat is a wonderful family home in Titikaveka with a 5 min walk to the Tikioki Beach which is one of the best snorkelling beaches on the Island across the road from Chantals Concierge. The house is within walking distance to Muri Beach and there you have top restaurants, bars, car/bike rental facilities, food markets, convenience stores, along with Kayak hire and lagoon cruises departing daily.
This very spacious 3 bedroom home has a large main bathroom and the master bedroom with its own ensuite and walk in wardrobe. All bedrooms now have air conditioning to make your stay more comfortable.
Turou Retreat is open plan living with a large kitchen, and large dining and lounge area. A huge deck spreads across the width of the house where you can enjoy BBQs or just relax and chill with a refreshing drink or two.
The house is fully insect screened and benefits from the cooler climate being off from the beach. The house comes with Air Conditioning Units in each room, large fans in the open living areas, TV, DVD, Stereo, Bluetooth Ipod docking unit, washing machine, 2 fridge/freezer, cook top, microwave and BBQ, toaster, electric jug,
So relax on the deck and enjoy the surrounding peacefulness with the beautiful sound of the roar of the sea in the distance, or spend the day at the beach, travel around Rarotonga to view the many sights and check out things to do on the island.

Although our family live in New Zealand, this home keeps us closely tied to Rarotonga and to one another. For many years, our mother has lived with my husband and me in NZ, and we are blessed to take her back to Raro at least three times a year. Each visit allows her to reconnect with family, enjoy the beauty of the island, and see the changes and growth of the home she loves so dearly.

Today, I have the privilege of managing Turou Retreat on behalf of our family. I do my very best to ensure every guest experiences it as we do — not just as a holiday house, but as a true home away from home. A place to relax, unwind, and feel comfortable.

We hope that during your stay, you feel the warmth, love, and heritage that make Turou Retreat so special to us.

Why they chose this property

Turou Retreat is situated off the main road where is much quieter from the roar of the sea, traffic and barking dogs. In Nov 2019 we installed air conditioning units in the bedrooms for your comfort at night or day. The house is surrounded by very friendly locals and there is that feeling of being part of the Island life.... chickens , rooster, cats, banana trees, Paw paw trees, guava and passionfruit and did I mention 'roosters' ( you'll know what I mean lol.)

2 Km to Muri Beach that has great restaurants, Lagoon Cruises, Diving operators, Swimming with the Turtles, in fact all water sports, Bars, convenience/ liquor stores, Buggy rides etc etc
