Our own restaurant To Petrino is situated right next to the Suites. Beautiful sunny balcony with wooden furniture and umbrella/pergola, beautiful views of Makris Gialos and the Ionian sea, private parking, separate bedroom with double bed, private safe in for your valuables, elegant, high-quality bathroom with shower cabin (Classic Suite) or shower-tub in the Superior Suite (not for use of full bath - it is shower only), Italian wood vanity, WC, spacious living room with dining area and kitchen, two hot plates, full range of cooking utensils and cuttlery, filter coffee machine with filters, fridge, Sony flat screen TV, CD / DVD player, Astra satellite TV, free 24h WiFi access, free use of personal safe for your valuables, free air conditioning, hairdryer, dimmable lighting in the bedroom and living room (only in the Superior Suites upstairs)

Directly by the Makris Gialos beach, beautiful clear sea, ideal for a family vacation or a romantic hideaway, for nature lovers, a variety of hikes, trips by car, visiting the famous shipwreck, boat trip to the Blue Caves, Askos animal and nature park, Xigia bay, various offers to do kayak, windsurfing, scuba diving, snorcelling, pedal boat as well as cycling and trekking tours, bring your own boat/sailing boat with you - you are allowed to ride at anchor for free at Makris Gialos beach, possibility to rent a small motorboat (30PS) directly at Makris Gialos beach or alternatively at the port of Aghios Nikolaos (distance 4km), restaurants nearby (walking distance), three small mini-markets within a radius of 4 km for the purchase of food, boat trips around the island, visits to monasteries, churches, museums, traditional villages ... and much much more awaits you on the beautiful island of Zakynthos. We strongly suggest to rent a car for the entire holiday as there is no public transportation here on the island.

We had a wonderful stay in Zakynthos and thoroughly enjoyed exploring the local area as well as other parts of the island. Location was perfect for our needs and we felt the environment was really peaceful. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with everything else needed. The hosts were very knowledgeable and ready to help with anything we needed. They were welcoming and dedicated to making sure we were always taken care of. We’d love to return again!

Wonderful stay at Makris Gialos beach apartments

This was our first visit to Zakynthos and our stay at Makris Gialos beach apartments made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Ivana & Dionysios were kind and thoughtful hosts who you really felt cared that you were enjoying your time on the island..The apartment itself was beautifully furnished, clean and the bed was very comfortable....and we could order bread if needs be for the following morning.. ☺️We certainly will be returning again as a week really wasn’t long enough ..

Traumhafter Urlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in toller Lage. Die Aussicht jeden Morgen direkt auf das blaue Meer. Der Kiesstrand fußläufig (2 Minuten) zu erreichen, die Wohnung wurde regelmäßig gereinigt, die Handtücher getauscht bei der Austattung der Wohnung wurde an alles gedacht.

Eine schöne Unterkunft zum Erkunden von Zakynthos

Schönes und für griechische Verhältnisse geräumiges Apartment mit schönem Meerblick. Für Selbstverpflegung gut ausgestattet. Dazu sehr sauber, die Wäsche wurde in der Woche mehrfach gewechselt. Besonders hervorzuheben die besondere Gastfreundschaft von Ivana und Dionisis, wir haben von Ivana viele nützliche Tipps erhalten. Das eigene Restaurant To Petrino ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Mit dem Mietwagen kann man die tolle Westküste und die wunderbare Nordspitze am Kap Skinari erkunden.

Pro: - Absolute Sauberkeit und gute Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung - Tolle Aussicht (Meer) und kurzer Weg (2 Minuten) zum schönen Kiesstrand - Ausreichend private Parkplätze - Angrenzendes sehr gutes Restaurant - Sehr aufmerksame (deutsch u. englischsprechende) Gastgeber Contra: - Lage an der Straße (manchmal Verkehrslärm) aber nur auf der Terrasse/Balkon Zusammenfassend: Wir haben uns absolut wohl gefüllt und würden jederzeit gerne wieder dort wohnen wollen. Perfect relaxation

The apartments are absolutely perfect, even better than the photos. Everything inside and out is immaculately clean and well-kept, the kitchen is really well equipped and the views are just stunning. Ivana couldn't have been more helpful, arranging a taxi for us from the airport and explaining to them that we would need to stop at a supermarket on the way to stock up as we didn't hire a car. We did a bigger shop on the way from the airport however there is a mini-market a few minutes walk from the apartments which stocks all the basics. Makris Gialos is a lovely, clean and sunny beach but there are also several other smaller beaches within easy walk of the apartments which are well worth a visit. The location is quiet and peaceful but there are still 4 restaurants and 2 cafe bars within a few minutes walk. We can highly recommend Ivana and Dionysios' restaurant next door which ticks all the boxes of being beautiful, fantastic food and service and also the cheapest. We ate there numerous times during our stay and the food (and their own wine) was always excellent. In all we had a wonderfully relaxing break which was exactly what we needed. If you want somewhere away from the bustling resorts but still with places to eat and drink, and fantastic views and beaches, you can't go wrong here. Thank you Ivana and Dionysios for your great hospitality.

Absolut empfehlenswert!!!!

Wir haben seltens so kompetente und freundliche Gastgeber wie Ivana & Dionisis kennengelernt. Die beiden legen sehr großen Wert auf Sauberkeit, sowohl im Appartement als auch in deren Taverne. Es fehlte an nichts. Wir waren 14 Tage vor Ort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Daher können wir deren Anlage auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Paradise on your doorstep

The property was of a high standard and the hosts were lovely, helpful and very attentive. Their restaurant served delicious, well priced food and again the owners couldn't do enough for us. The location is perfect and within a short walk of one of the nicest beaches on the island, with amazing snorkeling where we saw a range of beautiful fish, a sea snail and even an octopus! It's also within easy driving distance of all the major attractions that Zakynthos has to offer. Perfect place to have a relaxing and beautiful holiday.

Just wonderfull!!!

We stayed for a week and it couldn't have been better!! The appartment was perfect and clean with a marvelous seesight. The pictures didn't lie! In the appartment was all we needed. Ivana and her husband were very kind and were always there for you if you needed them. Their restaurant next door was also very good. We loved the food and the price was good. The beautiful beach was nearby, just a 5 minutes walk. Our children didn't miss a swimmingpool at all. We would go back right away!

Wir waren begeistert! Es war nichts beschönigt in den Beschreibungen. Wir würden wiederkommen und das Objekt auch weiterempfehlen. Die Kommunikation unmittelbar mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut; die Kommunikation mit FeWo-direkt ist verbesserungswürdig, insbesondere was die Zahlungsangaben betrifft.

Wunderschöner Urlaub bei lieben Gastgebern

Wir wurden von Ivana, Dionisis und ihrem Team herzlichst aufgenommen und liebevoll umsorgt. Die Unterkunft liegt abseits vom Touristentrubel in einer wunderschönen, kleinen Bucht; ein Ort der Entspannung, aber auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt um die Insel zu erkunden. Das Apartement ist makellos sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man im Urlaub benötigt. Der Blick von der großen Terasse ist umwerfend. Auch das Umfeld der Unterkunft wurde liebevoll gestaltet mit schönen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten z.B. unter einem alten Olivenbaum. In der angrenzenden Taverne wurden wir ebenfalls sehr verwöhnt mit leckerem Essen und sehr gutem Wein. Ivana ist eine Spitzenköchin. Ein wunderschöner Urlaub. Vielen Dank an Ivana, Dionisis und ihrem Team.

First time in Greece and we hit the jackpot

Before we booked, we read through the reviews and were very impressed with the praise within them. We booked an apartment for 3 weeks and a car for the duration with an intention to explore the island from this base. The trip from the airport to the apartment (approx 40 mins) is very easy and took us through some beautiful villages and amazing landscapes. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Ivana who explained everything we needed to know about the apartments and local area. The apartments are superb and exactly as you see them in the website photos. They are well equipped, very clean, spacious and the location is awesome with picturesque views. Ivana and Dionysis have their restaurant next to the apartments and we highly recommend their food along with their own excellent wine and olive oil. Makris Gialos beach is beautiful and only a couple of minutes walk, the water is very clear and good for swimming or you can just relax whilst enjoying the sun. There a small supermarket close by and several restaurants within a short walking distance. Thank you Ivana, Dionysis and staff for looking after us so well, your attention to detail, the facilities you provide along with your passion for your home is second to none and a credit to you. Again, thank you and we will return.

Beautiful apartments/location

Thankyou Ivana and family the apartments were beautiful and clean very spacious and a beautiful spot.The only downside is the location, quite isolated so you will definitely need a car or a good pair of legs as there are no buses the nearest resort is a 15minutes car journey,we would definitely return in the future.
