Family-friendly holiday home on the edge of the forest in a very quiet location

Our holiday home is in a secluded location on a 800 sqm plot in a sunny location on the edge of the forest. The street ends shortly after the house as a dead end, so the location is wonderfully quiet! The large garden and the car-free environment are ideal for children to play outside. A table tennis table including rackets and balls is available. The covered porch faces west. A fortified fireplace can be used for a campfire.
The access to the network of trails in Finsterau is only around 300m away.
The house is bricked and therefore keeps the inside temperature at a comfortable level.
The interior consists of solid wood flooring, as does the solid wooden beam ceiling.
A Swedish stove in the living area provides a cozy atmosphere, firewood is available for this.
There is also a sauna house for relaxation with a sauna for 4 people and a (cold) outdoor shower.
Bicycles or skis can be parked in the garden house, the car is protected in front of the house under a carport.
Our house is a non-smoking house. Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs.


In the village center of Finsterau (500m away) there is a well-stocked Edeka market that is open every working day. He also has his own bakery with very good, fresh baked goods.
A recommended butcher ('Kellermann') is in the neighboring town of Heinrichsbrunn. It is located about 1.5 km from the house in the main street on the right shortly before leaving Heinrichsbrunn.
In Finsterau, the Landhotel Bärnriegel is recommended for lunch and dinner, as is the so-called Tafernwirtschaft 'Zur Ehrn' in the museum village (only open until 4 p.m.).
