About this property

Near-natural house with garden, orchard, sauna, fireplace & free Wi-Fi

The house was built in the 50s of the last century. In 2011 we have completely renovated the house and lovingly restored. A wood-burning fireplace and Larch floors create a cozy atmosphere. The W-LAN can be switched off.

In vegetable garden there are organic herbs and home-grown seasonal vegetables. In late summer / autumn, the pumpkins are harvest fresh. Anyone who wants can get involved with weeding and lawn mowing.
With 2019 we have started a new project: with the acquisition of a 1,500 m2 large meadow, the planting of a scattered meadow with fruit trees from the species conservation program of the "Noah's Ark" is starting. Then 20 trees will be available from July to October with their harvest for our guests.

Bathrooms: with underfloor heating, bath tub, double vanity, infrared sauna, heated towel rail, WC

Living room: with magazines and books to browse, leather couch, regional maps and literature, LED TV (with satellite channels). DVD's in English and German and board games.

Kitchen: ceramic hob (4 fields), refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter and Italian espresso machine), toaster, kettle, soda stream, blender, basic food (spices, vinegar, oil ... in organic quality)

Reading area: on the first floor with beanbag

Boiler room: Air heat pump coupled with wood stove (fin oven, water-bearing), washing machine


The rent includes the Millstatt Inclusive Card (MIC). The range varies between high and low season. You have free admission to all lake and swimming pools in the region, as well as free admission to some museums and free sea-crossings and toll road. In the village there is "almost" free taxi (1, - per person) by appointment.

Great place and great host !

The house and the location are great ! The house is cosy and well equiped. It is well located to make trips for hiking, visiting, skiing, ice-skating, etc. The communication with the host was very good.

Very relaxing holiday

We had a wonderful week in this very comfortable house. It has an outstanding lake view, it was very warm, light and cosy. The host was always available, everything was as described, we did not encounter any difficulties. Overall it was a great stay, we would love to come again! Thank you!

Beautiful view

Nice house with good isolation. Location is amazing, very nice view. Everything you need is available. The carpet upstairs is very slippery. The banister upstairs is comming loose from the wall.

we stayed in the Naturnahes house just after Christmas and had a lovely time. Obviously at that time of year the lake and town were mostly closed down but the walks up behind the house to the chapel and up through the woods were fantastic. The house was warm and welcoming with a decorated Christmas tree up and all the facilities were great. A warning about the steep front ramp if you have any elderly people but it was fine for us, thanks again Nicola

Beautiful house

The house itself is beautiful, as is the view on the lake from the deck. The house has a warm, friendly feeling to it. We loved the kitchen, were we stayed most of the time, but we stayed out of the sitting room due to the lights that we thought to be unwelcoming, too little in number and too bright. The bedrooms were good, roomy and with nice beds. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. We missed a separate or extra toliet and would have loved to have a proper shower. Showering in the bathtub without a showercurtain was manageable, but not ideal. Overall we a pleasant stay, not in the last place because of the nice owners that took great care in making sure we had a good start of our stay.

Authentic house with stunning view on lake

We stayed in the house as a family with 2 teenage kids. It was very spacious and convenient but especially the terrace with the beautiful view made this house a perfect spot! We arrived in the evening after dark, the entrance of the house was a bit difficult to find but once entered we really enjoyed the location. From the house you can walk down to the lake and village, convenient to reach supermarket, restaurants and the swim area. Franz was a great host and easy communication, the house really has all equipment you can think of. The spacious bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs which was not really a problem but since the authentic wooden stairs are very squeaky, better to avoid toilet visits during the night as it will wake up the whole family 😀 All in all our visit to Millstadt was definately worthwhile and we would visit again if we are planning for Austria! Big thanks to Franz for being such a good host!

Auf den ersten Blick ganz schön, beim zweiten weniger. Es fehlt an Fliegengittern, sodass viele Insekten den Weg nach innen finden. Auch ein zweite Toilette oder diese separat wäre passend. Die Aussicht ist toll, die Sitzmöbel auf der Terrasse leider weniger. Wir waren zu zweit und mit Hund. Leider ist der Garten nicht abgeschlossen. Der Hund kann jederzeit auf die doch viel befahreren Straße abhauen. Positiv ist die Ausstattung der Küche. Da fehlt es an nichts und auch die Betten sind bequem. Das Bad großzügig gestaltet.

Das Haus war echt schön, es hat uns gut gefallen. Die Aussicht auf den See und der Garten haben uns und besonders den Hunden zum täglichen Nickerchen eingeladen. Das Einzige was wir vielleicht als Verbessungsvorschlag anbringen würden, wären Mückengaze an den Fenstern. Gerade abends und nachts kamen die Viecher und waren auf Stechtour in den Schlafzimmern. Wir schlafen mit offenen Fenstern und Türen.Es war ein schöner Urlaub!!

Sehr erholsame und Aktive Tage

Ein sehr hübsches Haus, im Wäldchen gegenüber gibt es Glühwürmchen und wir hatten früh morgens sogar ein Reh zu Besuch im Garten. Es gibt rund um den See viel zu unternehmen und der Gastgeber war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Korrespondenz mit Herrn Pichorner war sehr unproblematisch. Wir hatten sehr schöne Tage bei wunderschönem Wetter und tollen Wanderungen und haben uns im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei der phänomenalen Aussicht von der Terrasse konnten wir sogar das Feuerwerk ansehen.

Wunderbarer Kurzurlaub im Spätsommer

Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, liebevoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man braucht. Die Lage direkt am Wald ermöglicht es, sofort loszuwandern oder man kann auf der Terrasse einfach den Seeblick genießen. Wir können das Haus nur empfehlen.

Wunderschöner Seeblick

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Franz sehr genossen. Das Haus ist urgemütlich mit der Holzterrasse und dem tollen Blick auf den See. Da möchte man abends nirgendwo anders hin. Zum selber kochen ist die Küche super ausgestattet und es gibt auch einen Grill. Von der Unterkunft kann man sowohl tolle Wanderungen starten oder man läuft 10 Minuten bergab zum See☺️ Wir haben für Woche sehr genossen. Franz ist ein toller Gastgeber.

Naturverbunden

Ein Haus mit Charme und Charakter. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Insbesondere die Möglichkeiten auf der Terrasse waren perfekt, Liegestühle und ein effektiver Sonnenschirm waren vorhanden. Am Tisch saß man sehr gemütlich mit einem wunderbaren Blick auf den See und in die Berge bis zur Gerlitzen und der Reisseckgruppe. Vielen Dank an Herrn Pichorner. Ferienhaus sehr gut ausgestattet

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen erholsamen Familien Urlaub in Millstatt in dem Ferienhaus. Die Ausstattung des Ferienhauses lässt keine Wünsche übrig. Wir haben Grund um wohl gefühlt und geben dem Ferienhaus volle Punktzahl. Verdunklungsrollos und eine Dusche hätten unser Glück perfekt gemacht. Dies eher als Wunsch gemeint. Aber wie gesagt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Herrliche Zeit

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche verbracht! Das Haus bietet ALLES was man sich wünscht und braucht, es fehlt absolut nichts. Der Garten und die große Terrasse mit Seeblick sind herrlich! Man kann super Ausflüge unternehmen und im Strandbad Tschinder war es total klasse mit dem Hund!
