The outdoor, fenced space is really big, and so are the rooms in the house. The home is older, and it looks as if the owners are refurbishing as they can. The kitchen is well equipped, and you can tell which areas have been updated. The house could be a show stopper if everything were fixed. There is lots of space and storage. We had a few items that the manager was going to address, but overall we were comfortable. We would stay there again. Having use of garage space was really nice.

I have never had an easier short term rental experience than this one! Nadim was a phenomenal host! This home was absolutely perfect for our crew and about as pet friendly as it could get- the fully fenced HUGE yard, the doggie door, the water/food bowls, tile floor... The kitchen has so much storage with gadgets and tons of utensils and dinnerware. The ice machine/water dispenser does not work on the fridge so ensure you bring bagged ice if it is needed. Tap water was delicious. Misc: very clean and HOT hot tub! Tons of hot tub towels, bath towels, clean linens, blankets, washer and dryer, huge two car garage... seriously- such a great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious. the furniture beds and lighting are good and the kitchen has good circulation, and all the drawers are labeled! The amount, quality and selection of utensils and containers for cooking isn’t great— a few more spatulas, mixing bowls and lids for pots and skillets would be nice. The fridge is large and modern but doesn’t seem to produce ice.The back yard is the star of this house— absolutely huge, fenced, and extremely dog-friendly. The deck and the hot tub are also excellent. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and the people are friendly. It takes only 7 minutes to get to town and even less to get to Turquoise Lake. We loved it here.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again when in Leadville. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, utensils, coffee pot, pots, pans, and more. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. The tile floors could use a good deep cleaning though. If you are picky about your linens, bring your own. Nearly all of the towels and sheets had black streaks on them—probably from a washer or dryer that had an issue in the past, but the washer and dryer currently in the house worked well and did not leave black marks. We did not bring any dogs, but wished we had. The house seemed to be very dog friendly; it had a large fenced yard and a doggie door. We were able to fit all 4 of our Rzrs in the garage and had plenty of outside parking for vehicles and trailers. Overall, the house was great.

Great location

We loved the location! Beds were comfortable, clean too. Very communicative assistance when needed for questions during our stay. The hot tub was well-maintained and the kitchen was stocked with supplies! The tile floors were a bit dirty, but all else was clean.

This was a great property that more than accommodated our family for the Leadville Stage Race. Lots of room, a HUGE back yard, and everything comfortable. It was a perfect location for us - close to town as well as aid stations. Our hosts were responsible and awarded us a late check-out which was much appreciated.

Family get together

Beautiful accomodations and gorgeous yard, which our dogs absolutely loved. Campfire was a bonus with hot tub available. We have family living in Leadville, so there were many activities to do, including the wonderful train ride. It would be great to have a list of checkout posted or a book with rules, info, hot tub use and activities, restaurants etc. available.

Great weekend getaway to Leadville

All in all, it was a great weekend. The house was fantastic, loved the large kitchen and the walk out deck into the hot tub was perfect. If I had to be critical about one thing, the kitchen table could have been larger, but honestly, it was a great weekend!

Gorgeous, spacious property!!! Very comfortable furnishings, beds and a fantastically well appointed kitchen. Excellent set up to accommodate our pets. The hot tub was luxurious—we used it several times during our two day stay. The back yard was two paws up from both of our pups. Very quiet, peaceful and rustic neighborhood. Stellar communication from property owners/management and housekeeping. A wonderful place to relax for a couple days while sightseeing in Leadville—wish it could have been longer.

Lovely place

My family and I have been going to Leadville every summer for the past 5 years but this was the house that everyone agreed we should keep going to for the next 5 years. It's lovely, spacious, and clean. I had texted that there was no toilet paper in the house with the intent of going out to get some and 10 minutes later, someone showed up with the toilet paper! Stay here, you'll love it.

The home was very inviting, well lit and spacious. The garage was useful and the large fenced yard was a dream for our dog as well as playing outdoor games. Perfect placement being an equally short drive into town or to turquoise lake. Bedding was comfortable and the master suite leaves little to be desired. The rain shower was great and had to be shared with everyone. Three of us being between 6' and 6'5 had ample clearance which was a first and a big bonus. Communication was easy and responses were prompt. We hope to be able to stay again someday.

We have rented in Leadville before but we were bringing the whole family: 6 adults, 1 infant and 2 dogs. The property was perfect for our needs. Every couple had their own room and their own bath. The large back yard is totally fenced which made dog maintenance easy. Parking was no problem for 3 cars. It is a quick drive to Leadville proper and easy access to Turquoise Lake and hiking trails. The only downside was some neighborhood dogs were rather vocal in the early morning hours. We would not hesitate to rent this property again!

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at this beautiful house just minutes away from downtown Leadville. The house was comfortable and clean. The property managers were very attentive. One of the toilets had a small leak on Saturday morning, and the managers sent someone out within an hour. All other questions about the property were promptly answered. Great place for dogs, too. Our big dogs loved the big backyard. Leadville itself is such a fun place to visit! We went on a few historical tours and visited the mining museum, rented e-bikes from ebikeLeadville to ride the Mineral Belt Trail, and enjoyed eating at the downtown restaurants. (Our favorite was High Mountain Pies.) All in all, it was a wonderful trip, and always very nice to come back to our VRBO in the evenings.

The house looked very beautiful upon arrival and seemed very luxurious, unfortunately, a lot of the things we were hoping to include in our stay were not at the best in operationThe heating was an issue. It took hours to reach even warm and did not have any clear instructions on how to operate. That resulted in trying to reach out late night to the host to see how we could warm the house up. We tried to light a fire, but we could not get the fireplace to work either. The host was quick to respond but could not help on its working and his tech was unavailable.The hot tub temps were hard to reach really hot and we couldn’t enhoy. Other issues were lack of enough hot water for everyone to take showers or baths at the end of the day, refrigerator didn’t seem to keep items cold enough and the TV system was difficult to navigate beyond a few channels. Printed instructions or insights into amenities would be helpful. There were positives about the property, including lovely space for everyone to enjoy, the backyard and the location near town. I think this could be a superior property if some details were attended to, and much clearer instructions on how to enjoy the property were provided Overall, I did not feel that the price which including pet fee being close to 600 dollars a night was warranted, especially due to some of the basic amenities being difficult or not operating . Thanks and hope the property can be improved a bit to become an outstanding vacation property
