Very clean and great location for access to The Homestead. We appreciated having a full kitchen and washer/dryer since there were 3 adults for a week long stay. Great to be able to have meal kits delivered. Very peaceful environment with the creek behind the house and early fall colors. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

The space was everything we could ask for during our weekend escape from the city. The cottage was so much more, everything that we needed in a cozy setting. Loved the fire pit by the creek and listening to the water while eating s’mores (hosts provide skewers and a grill as well). If you’re looking for a quiet getaway for a weekend or a week, then look no further!

This was a wonderful getaway with just the right amount of access to "regular life". I did not have phone service, but the wifi was excellent, so, I just used wifi calling. The landscape war sirene, and we were about 2 minutes from the Jefferson Pools. This was exactly what we needed. Thanks for a great space and experience.

Quiet place to relax

Huge porch to enjoy your coffee and listen to the creek. The house was extremely clean and was well maintained.

Big surprise outside

The house was cozy and inviting, well decorated and very comfortable. The hosts thought of everything we could need. The big surprise was the creek at the back of the property had flowing water and a waterfall which offered a serene relaxing sound through the house with the back windows open. It was so nice to sleep to that sound, and enhanced our stay significantly.The hosts also provided a book with lots of details on the house and what can be found around town.I'm counting down the days to my return to this house and to Warm Springs.

Exceed my expectations.

The location of the house was perfect from everything we planned to do around the area. Everything was so close. The house was beautiful and clean on the nice land with beautiful Stream of water by, that the sound made so relaxing. The house had everything you needed. We were very pleased with this beautiful property. Love this place.

Hidden gem with a location that can't be beat!

We loved this place! The house is very nice and is well-kept and you can tell that the owners really care about it. The property has a beautiful mountain stream running right past the house. The master bedroom (and bathroom) have an amazing view of the stream cascading through the forest, and the big deck was great for enjoying the sound of the rushing water. Along with the Warm Springs Pools, the location is also a great home base for all the great fishing, golfing, hiking, and other attractions in Bath County. We can't wait to come back!

Beautiful sweet home!!!

By choosing to stay at this beautiful property, made our mini vacation wonderful. The house was beautiful and clean and had everything you needed. The sound of Creek when you were sitting outside on the porch was very relaxing, sitting at night by the fire pit looking at the stars was very mesmerizing. Everything that we planned to do around area was so close by. I think we were very lucky to have this experience. We loved this place.

Self care weekend

We adored the house not the sharp turn for the driveway. This was a weekend for 2 girls to relax, unwind and care for ourselves. Close to the Baths, highlight of the trip, and not far from the Omni Homestead. We had a snowstorm 2nd day of trip but VDOT was amazing at keeping the roads clear. This home is close proximity to lots of restaurants and anything else one might like to see and do.

Cute house

The house was very cute and it is the first rental on VRBO I have given 5 stars for cleanliness. It was spotless. Beds and couch were very comfortable. Everything worked. There was a beautiful porch and the river ran in front of it. Which was cool but the cars flying by on the main road above it did take away from the feeling of solitude. We were close to the warm springs pool which was a unique experience. I highly recommend everyone try it. Very relaxing. Other than that there wasn’t much to do unless you were there to ski or hike. Had a hard time finding places to eat and there were no major stores nearby. WiFi was very slow in the home and nonexistent in some areas. So be prepared with supplies. Also there were no matches to use fire pit. However, after we adapted to the area we enjoyed some hiking and Mountain View’s. It was a quick trip with our dogs who really love the hiking. I definitely recommend the cabin and gave it 4 stars overall for how well maintained it was and it was very comfortable!
