Fabulous cabin for a weekend. My only disappointment there were no dressers or closets. Living out of a suitcase longer than 2 nights wouldn't be pleasant.

Beautiful new cabin!

Gorgeous setting, and cabin decor is so artfully done. All those windows afforded us great views of the countryside.

Cozy upscale private cabin

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful rustic modern cabin. The location was perfect with close access to downtown Galena but had an isolated feel tucked into the woods. The beds were very comfortable and the place smelled amazing! Would highly recommend for a couple or family of 4.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

This cabin is wonderful. Perfect location in the middle of the woods, yet only 10 minutes from everything Galena has to offer. It was such an enjoyable experience.

Weekend getaway

A lovely secluded cabin provided the perfect spot to relax. A short distance from Galena was a plus. One suggestion - provide more hanging hooks, drawers and/or wardrobe closet for clothes guests bring.

A very strong review for this cabin. It is beautifully located. One issue that I have is our inability to have found it. Thankfully, the manager answered the phone within moments and let us on how to drive to the cabin. Perhaps an explanation in the email That confirms this day would be helpful on attempting to find the cabin did not take away from our stay as we felt completely supported with the phone call being answered.

If you'd like a private, secluded location, this is the place for you. The 5 mile drive into downtown Galena is an enjoyable ride. The outside of the building is certainly nice but inside is very well done. The rustic wood walls, floors, ceilings, tables, bed frames have to be seen to be believed. Even the inside shower stall walls are natural wood covered with thick clear plexiglass to protect the wood as you view them continuing the wood theme throughout the building.Saw deer out the windows twice in 3 days and we were visited by 'Oscar' the Barred Owl who let us stand 20 to 40 feet away from him as he flew tree to tree hunting mice and voles, seemingly unbothered by our presence. Highly recommended.

Very nice newly constructed cabin in its own wooded 20 acre lot - just as advertised. A little difficult to find at first (our fault and the heavy rain as we arrived) but once the correct turn has been located very easy and simple check in process. The setting is very quiet and secluded which suited us down to the ground yet was only 10 minutes to the centre of Galena with its good selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and gift shops. Limited taxi service that we could find but the well equipped kitchen, gas BBQ and enormous fridge freezer makes dining-in a breeze. There is a large covered porch with seating ideal for a glass of wine after dinner. An odd feature as a visitor from the UK was the embedded ammunition in the epoxy dining table top!! A great place to wind down and relax - hope to return someday.
