We had an amazing stay at this cottage! The private beach was beautiful and made for such a relaxing getaway. The cottage itself was spotless, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The host was friendly, responsive, and always quick to answer any questions we had. We also really appreciated the clear instructions for everything in the cottage, which made our stay completely stress-free. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
House was perfect. On the beach. Had a fire pit. Toys for the children. Loved the sun room. Beautiful breeze off the lake. Could hear the waves. Very relaxing. We had a great family time.
Had a fantastic and restful time! Even more beautiful in person, and Meghan and John were incredible hosts. Always quick to respond, and going above and beyond for us. Thank you so much for everything! Hope to stay again soon.
This cozy waterfront cottage was perfect for a relaxing ladies getaway. The people in Erie Beach are friendly and welcoming. The hosts are accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions you may have.We enjoyed swimming, campfires, BBQ'ing, and walking the path along the water. We spent an afternoon at Luis Lookout (a quiet beach 3 minutes down the road) and enjoyed live music at Bayside Brewing Company (in Erieau, a 10 minute drive). We also took in the annual Art Festival in Erieau, supporting over 100 local vendors. This spotless cottage is on Municipal water so the water from the tap is perfect to drink, no need to bring your own. The water pressure from the shower is excellent. There is an air conditioning unit but we didn't need it, as the breeze is lovely and it's nice to have the windows open to hear the waves from the lake. If needed, there are fans in the bedrooms. The kitchen is fully stocked, the dishwasher works perfectly, bed linens & towels are provided, there are plenty of board games, and a beach umbrella is available for shade by the waterfront. There are 2 comfy Muskoka chairs and a small table set up right by the shoreline where we enjoyed coffee, reading, and evening beverages. There is firewood & kindling for sale at the Sobey's in Blenheim, and we also found some just down the street at a farm for 5/bundle (cash/honour system). Our stay here was fantastic and we'd be more than happy to come back the next time we need a relaxing vacation.
