Listing Discrepancy No Fireplace

This is a nice place to stay in Taos with an excellent location. I've stayed here several times in the past. The reservation listing was inaccurate. It stated that I was booking a "romantic studio with fireplace". The studio was fine but didn't have a fireplace. I contacted the owner/mngmnt co. in Chicago at check in about the discrepancy. They told me to ask for another unit with a FP but there were none available. I responded with this information via email to the Chicago mngmnt co. I never got a reply or follow up from them. They need to correct their listing!

Rats, Heat, and Non Responsiveness

4 night stay. 1st night,no AC. Reported it to front desk, 2nd night , no AC, maintenance said he did not get work order, 3rd night,no AC. Last day, manager acknolwleges AC is broken ...puts us in AC for final night. New room had AC but access panel fell on my head when i opened toilet lid. DEAD RAT FOUND IN HOT TUB SKIMMER BASKET. FRONT DESK DOES NOT COMMUNICATE WITH MAINTENANCE. NO ONE BOTHERED TO RESPOND TO ME UNTIL DAY 3. FOR ALL I KNOW THIS UNIT WAS RENTED TO ME WITH KNOWLEDGE AC DID NOT WORK. APPEAL TO MANAGEMENT FOR COMPENSATION FOR 3 NIGHTS WITHOUT AC YEILDED A "DEEP APOLOGY". THERE IS ZERO EVIDENCE THAT THIS PROPERTY IS BEING MANAGED. SHE THINKS STANDING FIRM WITH CUSTOMERS MAKES HER A STRONG MANAGER....GOOD LUCK WITH THAT!
