We enjoyed our getaway at the Rustic Hideway! It was the perfect cozy spot for us to spend our vacation in the moutains visting family! Everything we needed was provided and very clean. Thank you for sharing your beautiful piece of paradise!
We’ve stayed here before and always enjoy our time. It’s peaceful and there’s plenty of room for all five of us. We really enjoy using the fire pit and hanging outside.
The cabin is beautiful, the picutees do not so it justice. We had a great time and the are is also nice and close to s lot of stores and restaurants...
We loved the quietness and being secluded. It was so nice and relaxing for us. Felt homey. I would definitely go back. Our stay there was a wonderful experience.
Great area, beautiful cabin. Kitchen lacks some items, but that’s to be expected in a house that is a full-time rental. Clean and very beautiful log cabin handiwork, excellent balconies. Full privacy and Mountain Views but lots of towns and things to do nearby. Made the perfect space for myself, spouse and our cat. Excellent for big families.
It is an amazing cabin! The wood work is phenomenal! No curtains but there is no one to see you and it gives great views of the surrounding woods. Had a young bear go by one day. Easy check in and plenty of room! Upstairs A/c struggles to keep up in summer. Otherwise a great stay we would do again!
A GREAT cabin in the woods that is close to many activities and hiking trails. We will be back to this property! The hosts were very responsive and you can tell that they care about what they do.
The cabin is situated in a scenic part of the highlands, well off the busy Georgia road but close enough to allow fast travel to multiple state parks. We were thrilled by the spacious interior and the copious deck space. Comfortable Adirondack chairs, the propane grill and three bathrooms were a plus as well. We would absolutely stay again!
We loved staying in this cabin. It had everything we needed and is in a great location. Our dog stayed too and that was an added bonus.
My only recommendation is, because it is a dog friendly cabin, to include dog friendly places/things to do in your book. That would be an added bonus!!!
We will stay again!
Great home for the price. It was located a short drive from Franklin NC and Clayton GA, which are both great towns to park and walk around in. When we arrived, the power was out in the area and the host were quick to respond to us and stayed in contact with us until the power was restored in the area. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

About the host

Originally from busy Miami, Florida, my wife Tere and I now live in Austin, Texas. We look forward to the calmness of the Smoky Mountains and relaxing at the Beach any chance we get with our two beautiful, energetic, and loving kids. We are focused on providing our guests with amazing experiences in outstanding locations. Every one of our properties reflects our belief that "mi casa es su casa". How did we end up in the Airbnb hospitality business? We've stayed in many different places over the years, and have learned what we loved (and what we don't!) most about all of the homes we have stayed in. We appreciated quick no-contact check-ins and check-outs, friendly hosts that still gave us our privacy, super clean properties, and quick responses when we needed help. We strive to deliver these qualities to you and your family during your stay in any of our homes. We look forward to hosting you!
