Mesa Verde is close, but it was closed due to the federal shutdown. There are number of interesting things to do in the general area.

Mancos - Mesa Verde Trip

The house was perfect for 11 people to sleep and enjoy the space comfortably. It is located right outside of downtown Mancos and only 15 minutes from Mesa Verde National Park entrance.

EXCELLENT property. whole family loved it. Drove by it on the way to the property because we couldn't see the house because the trees were all leafed out. Would stay again in a heartbeat, or less.

Mancos stay

Not enough adjectives in the English language to describe our stay in Mancos. The house was CLEAN, neat and the patio was the best. We spent most of our time on the patio with our brothers and wives and our sons and thoroughly enjoyed the charm of staying in an old farm house. The perfect place for a mini family reunion. The serenade of the frogs and crickets at night added to the experience.
