We celebrated Thanksgiving with our family and everything was great! The wood burning fire place (with wood provided for us) was warm and cozy and we had plenty of room to be comfortable. There were all the dishes and pans needed to make our large meal. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a terrific stay! The home provided us with private space for multiple family units. The home was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. Communication with our host was timely and she was very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again! The ONLY concern was that two family members use a wheelchair and walker and the home was quite a distance from the parking lot and had three sets of stairs to get to it.

Was nice. A bit of a walk to front door and the stairs was an issue. Had to make trips and carry items. That was the tough end. Was nice is you dont have a lot of groceries or luggage.

Quiet place to stay

This was our first time in Galena and we fell in love with the area. It's a beautiful little town and this home is in a really quiet area. Even though it was 4th of July weekend and all the townhomes were occupied, there was no loud music or people. The home was the perfect size for our group of 8 adults, 1 toddler, and 1 infant. We didn't feel like we were on top of each other, the beds were comfortable, even the pull out sofa was nice to sleep on, and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The club house was nice and close by. Management was quick to answer messages and obviously cared about our experience. We will definitely be going through them again when we return to Galena in the near future.

We were told that living room heat was not working. It wasn’t that cold, so no problem. Sunday morning tried using microwave, door wouldn’t shut properly because decorative glass on door was out of whack. Found a pan that another guest didn’t bother to clean

We had one pet and it worked out great. Kitchen had all the tools to support making a very special Christmas dinner. Access to the Owner's Lodge was a great elevation for the family from swimming to fitness to game room...it was resort living with a comfortable environement.
