About this property

Large 200 m2 house with garden, terraces and courtyard. Florac Center.

A stagecoach house built on the former Fortified Barracks of the Lord of the city, these walls tell stories. The floors creak, the ghosts whisper for those who would like to wait for them to the rhythm of the bell tower.
Close to shops in the centre of Florac next to the castle. Ideal for 2 to 9 people looking for the charm of Lozère and its nature as well as its multiple activities around the Gorges du Tarn, Tarnon and Mimente: Florac - three rivers. There is a cot and an extra futon if needed.
The house is large with large rooms and outdoor spaces however it remains rustic and well in its original condition for some rooms, hence the current overall price of the cottage. Do not be too particular about some walls and ceilings or tapestries that will be being repaired or redone during the long winters to come. The kitchen is new with all the equipment and the rest retains its charm and practical operation. We do our best to make sure you are well.

C'était une très grande maison avec de beaux meubles anciens. Nous y avons passé de bons moments en famille et en plus c'était la fête de la soupe à Florac !

Une grande maison familiale

Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cette grande maison aux murs biscornus et au plan labyrinthique. Alors oui, la rénovation étant en cours, il faut aimer le charme des vieux papiers peints, des meubles d'autrefois et des parquets qui grincent. La maison n'est toutefois pas adaptée aux très jeunes enfants (beaucoup d'escaliers!) Elle est très bien située au bord du centre ville, proche des commerces, mais néanmoins dans une zone calme le soir. D'un point de vue équipements ménagers, la maison s'est avérée mieux pourvue que ne l'indiquait l'annonce, bonne surprise.
