Quiet Getaway
We spent a little less than a week relaxing by the water at this beautiful home. Communication with Tatiana was great and check in and check out were easy. We were amazed at the temp difference in this area in late June. While areas less than 100 miles away were roasting in the high 80s and low 90s, it was in the 60s by the lake. The house was well equipped with everything we needed from kitchenware to towels. We never left the property as we were interested in just taking it easy for a few days. Although it was just the two of us, we enjoyed the openness of the large living/dinning space. The huge table allowed plenty of space for putting together a large puzzle while still having room for other games and meals. The property would easily accomodate a large family with a total of 4 bedrooms. The waterview and sounds of the small waves crashing on the rocks was so relaxing. We also enjoyed some incredible fog shows as waves of fog were moving in and out across the water on several occasions. The speed at which the fog came and went was amazing. Our only significant negative was the mosquitoes outside, which is certainly beyond the owners control and was to be expected in a wooded area near the water. The mosquitos were very abundant and made it difficult to enjoy the outside areas, so please plan to have plenty of repellant.Overall, this was a very comfortable and relaxing stay.
