The house was clean and looked as great as advertised. We would definitely go back.

We're so glad the house was clean and matched the listing, and that it made for a 5-star stay. Comments like this mean a lot to us and we truly appreciate the feedback. We look forward to hosting you in future.
We found and rented this property the day we checked in because our initial rental was bad when we arrived and we got a refund and moved. We live a few states away and aren’t familiar with the area and were extremely wary after our first experience. This rental turned out to be amazing - the house was nice, open floor plan, clean and well maintained with plenty of space. We watched our favorite college game downstairs on the large TV and huge sectional while some of our party played pool. The path to the lake was well landscaped and maintained with nice lighting for the mulched path. The canoes and kayaks were in great working order and the small lake was just perfect for some fishing (my daughter caught quite a few!) and provided a beautiful view. The firepit area was also very nice. It is also very conveniently located with a short drive to small towns with gas stations, restaurants, local coffee shops and not far from areas we wanted to explore such as Delaware Water Gap and Jim Thorpe. It is in a wooded, natural area and that came with a few spiders in the basement and an encounter with what we believed was a European hornet when we left the door open (which we didn’t do again!). The host was responsive and easy to work with and we had no issues checking in the day of the rental. All in all, it is a wonderful property and we enjoyed the rest of our stay after the bad start at the first rental.

Labor Day Getaway
This was a family vacation. The home was perfect, nicely decorated and comfortable for all. We loved the outdoors nice light path to the water and the kids loved the kayaks and canoes. The firepit was a winner s’mores every night eaten by all.Any problems we text or called and got answers immediately. Very helpful. We would definitely rent again.
This cabin within the Camelot Forest community was perfect for a girls getaway. When we walked in, we were immediately blown away by how big and spacious it was and the amount of space for sleeping arrangements. When we booked it, we were hesitant about the fact that there was no AC and it was August, but it was so cool inside, it honestly felt like there was AC, especially in the basement. The lake is so small and private, we enjoyed taking the kayaks and canoes out in the evenings. There is also a small beach and swimming area right around the corner, although we did not have time to try it out. There were a few essential things that we were missing from the kitchen, but a quick run to dollar general fixed that. There were a few other small things that need to be fixed or updated, but none of it distracted from our fun. If you plan on taking a large group and using the pull-out couches, I would recommend taking some extra sheets. I would definitely book this cabin again.
The property was nice including the location. I stayed for 2 nights and the only things I didn't like are the following:
1) The sheets in the upper room look like someone just slept in them and they were not replaced, I could smell the sheets and the odor of the person who last slept on them.
2) The wifi password posted in the house was not working so we didn't have internet for 3 days.
3) There was a terrible odor at the back of the house facing the lake. I think it was a compost trashcan that might have not been cleared prior.
4) Poor communication with the manager. She asked us how our stay was and we brought up these issues, but she never responded back.
