Property

The location was excellent. Daryl was very responsive to all our inquiries. The only thing is that the play structure in the photos was no longer there and we had kids with us. Swimming was good except for the little ones as the shallow side was pretty weedy. Overall all of us loved the place and would recommend it. The fact that there were toys to play with for both adult and children was wonderful and we took advantage of the. Thanks Daryl for being a great host! It was a pleasure.

Very responsive host. Large lakeside area for relaxing. The lake access off the new dock was great, not weedy. Plenty of small fish to catch right off the dock. Excellent fire pit. Master bedroom was excellent. The other two rooms in the main house feature queen sized bunk beds. One of the rooms it was a bit cramped, as the bunk bed takes up a lot of the room, leaving about 18” to get around the foot and about 2’ on the other side. But if you’re just in there to sleep, it’s fine. The bunk house has two queen beds in separate bedrooms. It was nice that the bunk house also had ac but there was a strong musty smell in the air. The living area in the main house was excellent. Good sized fridge. It was really nice that there deliberately was some firewood and propane for our use. No mosquitoes during the day but came out like mad after sunset but that is to be expected. We opted to pay the little extra for the included linens and bedding and they were comfortable. The single bathroom made it necessary to coordinate showers a bit but it wasn’t overly inconvenient. Between the living room and large yard there was lots of space to stretch out. :)
