Regarding bedding: since we don't have a washer and dryer on-site, we’re unable to provide fresh linens for each guest’s stay. That’s why we ask guests to bring their own sheets, pillows, and blankets—a detail noted in the listing, but worth emphasizing for everyone’s planning. Your helpful notes make a big difference. While the VRBO listing outlines the general house rules, the requirement to bring your own bedding and beach/bath towels is clearly stated in the VRBO automated pre-arrival welcome message, and I also sent a separate reminder prior to your stay to ensure this was communicated in advance. To clarify, the detailed cleaning checklist is intended for guests who book privately outside of VRBO and choose to opt out of the cleaning fee. It does not apply to VRBO bookings where the cleaning fee has been paid and professional cleaning is arranged. A simple message or question prior to or during your stay would have allowed me to clarify everything quickly and ensure there was no misunderstanding. I’m sorry if this distinction was not fully clear prior to your stay. I appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify for future guests.
