Montgomery Inn at Ingleside is owned by Dennis & Lauralee, who have 4 beautiful children. We are entrepreneurs from northern Virginia, who have businesses in real estate investing, home building, HVAC contracting, and short term vacation rentals. We also homeschool our children and enjoy traveling and spending lots of time outdoors.
Why they chose this property
I have been an avid fan of Anne of Green Gables and its beloved author L. M. Montgomery my entire life, and it has always been a dream of mine to own a home on Prince Edward Island. My husband and I have been in the hospitality business for nearly 15 years, so coupling this experience with the opportunity to own a historic Montgomery home on PEI is the realization of a dream that comes along once in a lifetime!

Ingleside is a historic 1877 heritage Victorian home with original features, including: grand entrance foyer, 7 bedrooms, 5 ensuite bathrooms, 1 full bathroom in the west wing hall upstairs, a 1/2 bath downstairs, front parlor, dining room, and a spacious modern kitchen.
This stately home sits on 4 peaceful acres with beautiful views, directly across from the Lake of Shining Waters and the Anne of Green Gables Museum at Silver Bush and holds deep literary significance for fans of L. M. Montgomery. It was recently restored with period charm and modern comforts and proudly holds a 4-star Canada Select rating.
No breakfast is served at this time, but guests have access to a full modern kitchen with all the desired amenities, including coffee and tea. Come walk in the footsteps of Anne and Maud, and make your own priceless memories at Montgomery Inn at Ingleside.
