A unique opportunity to stay at this lovely Historic House, great location, helpful friendly hosts. Thanks Fiona & Anton, we really enjoyed staying in Tyford House , wish it could’ve been for longer. Would love to stay again & will recommend to friends & family.
Amenities are good for kids as there is a big paddock out back to run around in and kick the footy. Place is cool during the day and at night, bathrooms are huge and so is the BBQ. Great older style homestay accommodation with comfy beds.
This is a truly magnificent house, and beautifully furnished and presented. The only thing that made it awkward, was that the kitchen didn't have a sink. "The kitchen" is literally what's in the photo of a fridge with a dresser, mini oven and microwave, in the lounge room. It's also on Brand Highway. You can hear the passing trucks if you're a light sleeper. However, it's in a perfect location to explore the area, or for a night stopover on the way north.
In a word Quirky, a mix of 200yr old building and tasteful expensive furniture, would recommend this property, and thanks to the host, a lot of work has gone into this. WELL DONE
