Nicely furnished cottage with 4 beds so there is lots of room for a family the kitchen is well stocked and the host has provided lawn chairs and a cooler. Would highly recommend
We enjoyed our stay at The Whispering Cottage. The only suggestion that we would have, is perhaps to put some curtains for the first floor windows and doors. Feels a little exposed at night. But loved our stay.
Super clean and looks like it was very recently renovated from top to bottom. Helpful to have washer-dryer available. Location is very good. There's a water view of St. Peter's Bay across the street, and an array of cute stores (including a coffee shop) just a block away. Also a short drive to the Greenwich National Park which has some of the most scenic trails in PEI. I did have trouble getting in the door initially, and the owner was quick to return my call and solve the situation.
It was a perfect place to stay. Loved the location, so central to the east side of PEI.Very cute and this cottage had everything you could imagine.Make sure you try Golden Dory for food and such cute shops right beside the cottage.
The Whispering Bay cottage was fully stocked, beautifully decorated, & had a pretty view of the bay. Cute & cozy! Close to Confederation Trail & places of interest. Would highly recommend it!
The cottage is newly renovated and very comfortable. Great walkability to everything St Petes offers! There's a stunning chestnut tree on the front lawn which created lovely, deep shade. There is a great spot across the street at the park where you can watch the sunset. The kitchen is quite well-stocked with kitchen tools, appliances. We definitely appreciated the dishwasher! We asked for a couple of extras, such as a second key and beach chairs, and Camren was very quick to arrange these things at no extra cost. Extra things that would make the cottage just that much better:-a salad spinner-an outdoor clothes line with pegs-a screened in front porch (mosquitoes are plentiful by the bay!)Considerations:1. We did find that the cottage was very close to a busy corner. Lots of roaring trucks, cars, motorcycles all day. The traffic dropped off at night. If you're up and away all day, this won't be an issue. But we never opened the windows because of the traffic noise. 2. The ground floor was quite comfortable at night because of the air conditioning unit. However, guests on the second floor will receive none of the benefits of the AC because of where it has been placed. We noticed it was hot and stuffy on the second floor. Luckily, we didn't need it for guests.
Very well equipped house (washing machine and dryer and kitchen). We went to Morrell to do the grocery and take out food from the seafood shack (very good lobster roll, seafood chowder and fish and chips). I strongly recommend the house for rent.
Wow! What a great find. We stayed for 3 nights and could not have asked for a better location on PEI, make sure and check out Mysa spa and Great Basin beach durning your stay.
The cottage was super cute. One minor improvement would have been window dressing in the main living area. We felt a little exposed because of the close proximity to the road.
We spent 4 nights in this cozy little cottage during our longer trip from Manitoba to the East coast. Sure is nice to get out of hotels and into a “home” atmosphere. To be able to cook our own meals and catch up on laundry! This little place allows you to do it all. There was just the two of us (and our dog), so didn’t utilize the two bedrooms upstairs. Ground floor was perfect size for us. The road it is on is fairly busy - so more noise than what we are used to on the farm, but still acceptable. It isn’t the busy tourist season here yet, but the town seems to be a quaint little place. Love the island and its people!FYIDon’t rely on google to find the cottage - follow the instructions given to you by the landlord!

Thank you for review Wallace, appreciate the note about about directions!
We really enjoyed the location. We were able to hop on our bikes at the cottage and ride a short distance to get on the Confederation Trail. It was a short drive to the trails at Greenwich. We enjoyed driving to multiple lighthouses. Loved being right across from the water and seeing the sunset. Camren was quick to respond when we had questions
