This place is amazing-so many little details like flowers everywhere, great kitchen supplies including spices, gorgeously decorated rooms, lots of towels, restful, beautiful rocky beach, so much to do in the area. Hosts are amazing too-very receptive. Our family of 9 people including kids, loved it. We played games, collected and threw rocks, swam, ate lots and lots of ice cream, enjoyed the bon fire and made great memories! Thank you so much

We had a wonderful stay at this home and would happily return. The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it easy to relax and enjoy our time away. We especially appreciated how pet-friendly the home was, which made traveling with our furry family member stress-free.One of the highlights was the convenient beach access. We loved being able to spend time by the water whenever we wanted. The quiet neighborhood provided a peaceful setting and was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Overall, this was a great rental that offered comfort, convenience, and a relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Our stay was outstanding. The area was in a quiet area and easily accessible. It sits on the hill with short walk down to the Lake Huron shore. The home was very good. New A/C was critical, it was a warm week. The kitchen was stocked with just about any utensils or equipment you would need, probably the best stocked rental we have stayed in.We had 7 adults and a baby, the five rooms were all used and nice. Plenty of room overall, a nice family room and dining table upstairs. A big family room and play area downstairs. The lake area was great. Very few people and very easily accessible down the stairs. Great stay. We are likely to return.

This was the perfect home at the perfect time. Our stay was amazing!! During the day we all enjoyed the beach and watching the bald eagles fly over. At night we were astounded by the Nothern Lights show that was put on for us by mother nature and enjoyed many hotdogs over the fire at the beach. Weather was perfect and the house had all the amenities we required to make our stay very enjoyable. The Hosts were incredible to deal with!! Made the entire process very simple. Looking very forward to staying with them again in the very near future!! Rating... 10/10!!! Keep up the great work guys!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of room for our big family! Our guests who stayed in the basement bedrooms indicated the rooms were cold all night as there doesn't appear to be heat to the basement. The full bed in the room with the twin bed would not stay on the frame as it appeared to be a queen frame. The guest in this room had to sleep lopsided as a result. I don’t think we would stay again in the winter due to the coldness of the basement.

Hi Lori, thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re really glad to hear you enjoyed the space and that it worked well for your big family. We truly appreciate you flagging the issues with the basement temperature and the bed frame. Since your stay, we’ve taken this feedback seriously and have installed a brand-new furnace to ensure the entire home—including the basement bedrooms—is consistently warm and comfortable during the winter months. We’re also working on the issue regarding the bedframe as well, so it does not continue to be an issue moving forward. We’re sorry for the discomfort your guests experienced, and we appreciate you bringing these items to our attention so we could address them. Guest comfort is very important to us, and we’re confident these updates have significantly improved the winter stay experience. Thank you again for staying with us and hopefully we will have a chance to host you again in the future! -Jessica FVR
Our family enjoyed an amazing stay at Greenwall Cottage on Lake Huron. Very private and peaceful but close enough to enjoy a day trip to Mackinaw Island and a few light house visits. As a family who enjoys biking we loved the 8-mile paved trail along the lake between 40 Point Light House and Rogers City/Seagull Park- our favorite! The home was well stocked with necessities and very comfortable. Appreciated the extra private rooms and spaces when family had different bedtimes (the littles). The screened-in back porch to enjoy family dinners and games was a favorite place to hang out. The fire pit on the beach to enjoy evening s’mores was a great hit! The only suggestion we would make would be to have a couple of kayaks on the beach for an added activity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for a wonderful place to stay.
