Definitely recommend this peaceful quiet accommodation close to town. Watching the deer come in was amazing. Having a bottle of wine courtesy of host and voucher for breakfast!

The cabin was adorable with beautiful views. The highlight were the deer that visited daily. It was just a short 5-10 minute drive into town. I will be booking again on my next visit to Fredericksburg.

Everything was great , we brought our dog great grassy place for dog , owners dogs visited us , they are very friendly . Owner feed deer every morning so deer were always roaming property

We enjoyed the quiet, serene atmosphere of the cabin location, and we felt safe and secure there. We loved having our coffee on the front deck and watching the deer in the early morning hours, and were amazed at the number of bird species our Merlin app identified! We felt that with a bit more TLC, attention to cleanliness, and provision of commonly used supplies (e.g., kitchen dish drainer, kitchen measuring cups/spoons & cooking utensils, more kitchen towels, Kleenex tissue, clean throw rugs, beds properly prepared, etc), as well as improved upkeep of the property (e.g., clean windows, removal of used/melted candles from prior guests, removal of old/partially consumed food in kitchen cabinets, etc), this could be a top-notch, extremely comfortable cabin. It’s in a very convenient location, yet far enough from town to feel remote and private.

Overall very pleased with rental. House included dishwasher and clothes washer soap, coffee, coffee filters, creamer and sugar. Only suggestion to property managers is to include more than 1 trash bag for long duration stays. FYI, if you plan on brining a dog you can expect to be visited by the owners dogs when you bring your dog outside.

Wonderful Getaway Spot

Loved this cabin. Small but well thought out updates. Need a new coffee maker, though. The grounds were just what we wanted. Felt away from other cabins but not isolated. Danny was great on property host…there when we needed him but not intrusive. Max, the golden retriever, was an added plus!

Very cute cabin I can't say it was super clean the dust was everywhere the cleaning person needs to pay attention to the many ledges, baseboards and window sills. Not hard to run a damp cloth over these surfaces. Other than that I would stay again. The location is amazing just far enough from town to enjoy the wildlife!

Site should not be listed as pet friendly. The dog who lives on the property approached mine, growled, and barked aggressively every time I tried to take him out or sit outside. Ruined the whole idea of sitting on the porch or being outside.
