So glad to hear everything else was great! We appreciate you pointing out the mildew on the deck bench cushion - humidity tends to affect those, so we replace them each season.

Check-in instructions were great. The home is so cute and decorated beautifully. You can see the river from the deck and there are plenty of black squirrels in the back lot. We enjoyed our stay.

The house is on a very busy road with lots of big trucks driving by and shaking the house. The outside and inside were not very clean. Lots of cobwebs, dust, dirty shower curtain, sticky floors. There was no view of the Mississippi River and it was in a very run down part of the town. The house was cute inside.

The right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We’ve taken care of the cleaning issues you mentioned by updating our cleaning team’s checklist, deep cleaning the floors, and replacing the shower curtain.- We’re sorry the home’s location didn’t meet your expectations—we try to set clear expectations in the listing, including its proximity to the main road.- While the home doesn’t offer river views, we focus on making the inside space welcoming, cozy, and well-appointed for guests.- We’ve made a few updates since your stay to ensure the home is in great shape for future guests. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.
