The house was poorly maintained - water not getting hot, flooring between rooms coming up, dish washer not screwed to wall (so it would tip over), found a bullet in a plant, wall tiles in kitchen falling off, broken dining room chairs, leaky faucets, shower handles coming off, broken futon, & trash in bushes at the front of the house to name a few. The host did not communicate through VRBO and only wanted to communicate via email.
