Our tiny home is close just close to Grantville and only a 15-minute drive from Phillip Island, Victoria, this private farm stay offers a relaxing countryside escape while keeping local attractions within easy reach.



Your own private stretch of land invites wildlife sightings from locals or travellers. Start your day at Maru Koala and Animal Park or marvel at cuddly residents at Koala Conservation Reserve. Venture across to Churchill Island, watch fur‑floored walkways at Penguin Parade, and sip award‑winning drops at Purple Hen Winery or Silverwaters Vineyard.



The 139-square-foot tiny home includes water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking gear, and a private bathroom. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the tiny house and the outdoor area surrounding it. Most of the property is available for use, except the area around the owner's residence and nearby sheds.



Preorders are available with 24 hrs notice from host:



- Guests receive two complimentary bottles of water , tea and coffee.

- Continental breakfast may be available for $15 per person, depending on your booking dates. Please check with us in advance.

- Firewood is available at $15 per tub. If you’d like firewood, please book in advance or feel free to request more during your stay.

Queens Ferry Farm by the Bay by Tiny Away, one of Grantville’s pet-friendly holiday homes, is located just off the Bass Highway and 15 minutes from Phillip Island’s bridge. Set amid the Western Port lowlands, this peaceful farm stay sits where koala habitat meets tranquil bayside flats.



Beyond the natural beauty, the region carries a rich timber and sand-mining history while now offering boutique vineyards and wildlife experiences. Nearby, guests can visit Maru Koala & Animal Park, explore the Koala Conservation Reserve, discover Churchill Island’s historic landscapes, and enjoy the famous Penguin Parade before returning to the comfort of their holiday home.



For wine lovers, Purple Hen Winery and Silverwaters Vineyard offer a taste of the region, with this laid-back getaway surrounded by wildlife parks, coastal scenery, and local vineyards worth exploring.



Getting Around:

By car:



- Roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes from Melbourne via the South Gippsland and Bass Highways.



By public transport:



- Take a train from Melbourne to Cranbourne, then transfer to a local bus to Grantville.

- Travel times vary and connections are limited, so hiring a car is the most flexible option.



By flight:



- Fly into Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine).

- From there, drive or hire a car for the 1.5-hour trip to QueensFerry Farm.

- Light aircraft can also land at nearby regional airstrips like Phillip Island or Tooradin for quicker access.

- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed

- Smoking is allowed in designated areas of the property

- Please note that more extended stays or late check-outs will incur an extra charge

- Only (2) pets are allowed. Additional pets may incur a fee. This is a pet-friendly property; full pet policies will be sent prior to arrival.
