The property is very nice and private compared to other cabins we have stayed. The beds were comfortable and the cabin is comfortable for families. The views of the lake are fantastic as you are a good 40’ above the water. We had a slight issue getting into the cabin that took a few hours to sort but once in the cabin, all was good.

Our stay with family at the cabin for 7 days exceeded our expectations. We have stayed at Lake Alex before with my grandparents and extended family and by far this cabin has the best view and best off the dock fishing. The cabin was newly remodeled on the inside and had so many special touches for guests. Our favorite part was the fires and smores while sitting in comfy chairs on the stamped concrete circle starting with views of beautiful sunsets and shining moonlight and the back drop being the best view of the lake shoreline I have ever seen. We would be to be lucky to come back and stay again in the future.

We enjoyed our time, but we could only sleep 4 guys because they aren’t sharing a bed. Sleeping 8 is a stretch, because it would have to be a family.
