Great stay

Loved how secluded the property was and how it was setup inside. We used it as a stopping point on a longer trip and it was great for that.

Pleasant and Peaceful

My only issue was google maps took us to the wrong address! Contacting the owner was a breeze and she was so helpful. Home was clean and everything we needed for the night. 10/10 recommend staying here.

Gorgeous Home

This place was perfect for our family of four. Enough room for the kids to have their space. Furniture is so comfy and the set up is adorable!

Just Perfect

This place was absolutely perfect for what I needed and was looking for. Perfect area, was accessible to the interstate and some local places to eat. Privacy, quiet and enjoyable. Great communication and recommendations for things to do in the area as well. A+ service

Cute little house in a very quiet location. Make sure you look into distance of things in the area because it is very remote. Also, if bringing your pet note that a dog from a neighboring property comes to visit at night.

the washer didnt work.. this is a very small house like for short people. there was stuff in refrigerator. does not have central air and the window unit that it has doesn't cool the whole house. it said there was a pack and play nowhere to be found.

I’m sorry the house wasn’t cool enough. I have another unit for other bedroom but I took it out when it cooled down. As for the pack and play, I have them upon request. I told you to let me know if there was anything I could accommodate you with. I just washed the bedding in the washer and it worked for me. What was the issue? I hope you had safe travels home.

Good for our needs.

Five of us, 3 adults and 2 children, stayed here for a funeral. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer, and be together in the same spot. The fire pit and tree swings were perfect for evening family time. The beds were very comfy, and there were many pillows to choose from. The layout of the house was a bit challenging with the only bathroom being inside one of the bedrooms. There’s also no outlets in the bathroom which proved difficult for getting ready. There are no doors on the bedrooms, but curtains are utilized across the door frames for some privacy. AC is via window units which worked well. Internet was spotty. Enough for TV but not enough for my husband to work on his laptop; he had to go to a co-work space in Effingham. I did buy hand soap as it was nearly empty, and extra wash cloths and hand towels as the ones provided were minimal and in very poor condition. Overall we had a good experience and would stay again. These are just things I thought future guests would find helpful to know when planning their stay. I had good communication with the host. The house was clean and in a very good location for the funeral. We were so grateful not to have to stay far away from where we needed to be.
