This suite is spacious and surrounded by network of trails, pathways, 25 minutes’ drive to Calgary Airport, 5 minutes’ drive to Canada Olympic Park, Bowness Park, WinSport ,20 minutes to downtown Calgary,10 min to university of Calgary ,12 min to Alberta Children hospital, , 3 minutes to Calgary Farmer’s market with many shopping shops and restaurants,,5 min drive to Crowfoot LRT McDonalds, A&W, Starbucks, Home depot, Bowness Park, Real Canadian superstore.

The suite has a separate furnace dedicated to the basement for fresh air and better ventilation. Smoke/CO2 alarm and recessed window openings as per Alberta fire safety code.

Unfortunately was not able to use the suite and had to book alternate accommodations due to an accessibility issue with members of my party. Booking did not show how sloped the gravel entry way to the suite was and someone within my travel party is awaiting replacement knee surgery and was unable to access the suite.

The place looks new but maybe too new. What I mean by that is it feels unfinished. There are no lights in the entrance at the back so you have to walk very carefully down the stairs at night. There is a cracked floor panel that squeaks as soon as you walk in. We wanted to use the washer after a long trip and is a reason why we went with an VRBO instead of hotel however there was a sign on the washer saying it's broken and not to use it. Had they told us in advance we would have booked a different place as we had a lot of clothes from our Banff trip. The toilet seat wasn't secured so it was uncomfortable as it moved around. Seems like it's in a neighbor with a lot of new development and construction.Some good things about this place is that the beds are comfortable and the place is relatively clean. It's also an hour drive from Canmore as it's on the west edge of Calgary so if you're going there or Banff this could be an option as it's cheaper.I would hope they fix and upgrade things so the stay would be more pleasant for others in the future especially since it's a new house.
