The property was the perfect location for my little family!! We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the 30 second walk to the water was perfect. Definitely recommend staying here!!!
What a lovely property! Booking and check-in were very easy, and our request for additional towels was addressed immediately. The gorgeous, quiet setting was ideal; our young grandchildren lived in the lake, swimming and snorkeling to discover many fascinating water creatures. Sunset over the lake was spectacular! The description and photos were accurate; our three generation party of seven loved our stay at Cinnamon Bear House - thank you so much!
A hidden gem. Absolutely amazing location with lake access on the most beautiful little lake. We loved sitting on the dock and jumping in the water. The cabin is comfortable, well stocked, and suited our family of 4 perfectly. Close to town of Rangely and Saddleback Mountain (which we enjoyed climbing). Wish we could have stayed longer.
My wife and I had a great time. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and the grill worked perfectly. When we got in the floors were clean and the linens were freshly washed. The wifi was great because cell reception is hit or miss without it. If you are looking for a quiet getting away in the woods on a private lake with no motor boats this is the place.
The cabin is absolutely lovely… Well supplied and comfortable, but the real icing on the cake is the dock! You sit out there and you watch the loons and it’s the quietest you’ve ever heard in your entire life. Last night we listened to the loons and watched the lightning in the distance and the meteor showers.
So cozy - this is a charming and well-appointed cottage. it has everything you want and need and we spent lovely evenings by the fireplace, sometimes working on a jigsaw puzzle, sometimes watching the Olympics.
The cabin was very cozy--warm and comfortable. Short drive to Saddleback Mountain and Main St. Rangeley. The cabin is on a private road that does not appear to get plowed as regularly as the main road, so ensure a suitable vehicle and tires in the winter.
The Cinnamon Bear house was a perfect getaway. The house was clean and comfortable, and just a half minute walk to the dock and firepit at the lake. Sitting on the dock relaxing in the afternoon was about as perfect as it can be. A little tricky launching a kayak, as I learned! But there were several ponds in the area with easy boat launches. Saw many deer along the road into Loon Lake. We had an excellent week.
Almost everything in theHouse seemed very new. The forrest, log cabin theme was consistent throughout. Plenty of room. Kitchen was fully stocked except leftover containers, which most rentals don't have. Fluffy white towels and great internet. We were even greeted with fresh herbs
This was a wonderful place to unwind and relax!!! Everything was clean and the kitchen was well equipped! The best part was having coffee in the morning on the dock! The view is incredible and the Adirondack chairs comfortable!!!We would like to return again!
