Christmas in Sweet Home/Foster

Such a perfect place to call home while visiting for Christmas. The beds were cozy, the house was comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all we needed for cooking. The hot tub was an extra perk. We're hoping to stay there next time we stay in the area.

Perfect for a holiday getaway

This property is beautiful! It was great for our family Christmas vacation. Quiet, clean, very well stocked kitchen appliances. It was close to fishing and lots of hiking. Wonderful place and quick response time when I reached out.

Easter and fishing trip

We picked this property because it had a large yard and we wanted to do some Easter activities. It also had room for our boat and my husband took it out on Foster Lake. It was a beautiful weekend and we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Funeral

Everything was good except back slider door handle was broken and the outdoor fire 🔥 place didn’t work! Hot tub 🛀 was working great and rooms and beds were very comfortable!

That said, we're sorry for the issues you found needing some TLC and we shared your comments with the local manager. They assured us that the handle on the back sliding door has been replaced and is fully functional. Additionally, the outdoor fire table had been disconnected due to a mandated no-burn period set by the county due to wildfire risk. We do our best to make guests aware of this in our email correspondence and we're sorry for any disappointment this may have caused. The property was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the views and privacy. However, there was no communication with the homeowner, which made check-in a challenge. Although I was told from VRBO that a check-in email had been sent to me, I never received this.

Stay by Foster Lake

Nice home and reasonable well stocked for cooking. Comfortable beds and plenty of space. The noise from the hot tub turning on and off was annoying but tolerated. Also gps first routed us to the place from above using the road going up from the Point restaurant and it didn’t seem right so we went down to the highway and found it easier that way.

The listing states that there are 2 queen beds. There was only one located downstairs. The second upstairs rm had a large desk and pull out twin bed.When I asked about the second queen bed it took 24 hours to receive a response and I was assured all was as listed. The upstairs shower would not turn off when we left, I sent a message letting them know when we checked out and about the maintenance concern and again didn’t get a response for 24hrs in acknowledgment

Very nice home but lots of stairs so may be difficult for some people to get around in home. The only additional thing I would have liked to have are window coverings in the master to darken the room for sleeping. But overall a very nice home.
