Weekend in Choo Choo

My family had a fantastic weekend getaway at Downer house property! The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. We especially loved the front porch sitting area to enjoy talk/familytime. The space was perfect for the family of 7 and just a short drive to downtown Chattanooga. We would absolutely stay here again!

This was our second stay here. They added a bed in the sunroom so there are three beds and a futon. Very close to Lookout Mountain. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels. If the bedrooms fit your needs then it’s a good place to stay.

Brought the wife and kids to Chattanooga for the 4th of July weekend to try and do some exploring of Lookout Mountain. The house was tucked away, a nice distance from the downtown (10-15 minute drive) and the highway (5 minute drive) so it was a nice peaceful retreat after spending the days either walking through downtown and hiking the mountain. We really appreciated having Paramount plus available on the TV while getting the kids ready for our daily adventures in an unfamiliar environment. Beds were comfy. Enough hot water for 4 showers each evening. And a nice front porch to relax on in the evening/morning to read.
