The host was very responsive however, the facility is a basement unit (not readily identified as such) with a very lively family living upstairs. They have children who are up very late even past 12 midnight and the family is up cleaning and vacuuming and moving furniture late at night. The floor is not sound insulated and it makes it almost impossible to sleep. I made a complaint after the second sleepless night and they host was responsive and it did get a bit better than the first two nights. The house is connected to the basement unit through a door which is closed but still allows the cooking smells through. Although cooking smells are lovely and great when you are the person consuming the food, they are rather overwhelming when you are not and they migrate down into this basement and linger. It would be very beneficial to insulate this rental unit from the house above somehow. Overall, they host is great and the check in process was smooth and the neighborhood is safe and clean but the unit itself is not a restful nor a cozy retreat.
