Lovely to turn on the gas fireplace in the evening, really warms the space up. Place was clean and sturdily built. There was a big wind and rain storm while we were there and we were snug and cozy inside.Hosts were very responsive to any questions, and the caretakers were lovely. The site has steep stairs to the beach, and is fun to explore the rocks and pools for older children and adults. Go down the road to the regular beach access for swimming and sand though. The food truck at the gas station nearby is highly recommended. A few FYIs that others may want to know. There’s a bathtub with a shower, no bath faucet, in case you were looking to take a bath or have little kids. There’s no dining table, stools at the island bar or the picnic table outside instead. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with utensils and most cooking implements. Those with allergies: they use a heavily scented soap or scent beads on the laundry. Pillows are down filled, but there’s a poly fill one in the living room trunk. The place is pet friendly, but it was cleaned well enough that we didn’t have any allergies from it.

Excellent stay! Exactly as listed and the hosts were very receptive. My only advice for visitors with longer hair would be to pack some dry shampoo as the hot water tank is quite small, so you have quick showers! Plenty of time to wash up but not a full hair wash and condition for me (not a complaint, just an observation). Have already recommended this stay to others.
