Dirty pools and communication problems

Garden is nice, houses are a bit run down and are misrepresented in the ad. It’s actually 5 different houses with 1 or 2 bedrooms each, making it inconvenient for families with kids. Be aware, there is NO WORKING HAMMAM! Cockroach problem in 2 houses. Pools filtration system was off when we arrived, frogs swimming in it and really cold (at >35 degrees celsius outside temperature). Could not swim comfortably the first 3 days and after that all our bathing suits and skin turned green(!) Staff seems not very motivated to assist and blame each other or the rental agency for issues. Many mistakes with our booked activities (forgot to book museum visit, golf carts, etc.) driver service is slow and we were waiting for them every single time in the boiling heat. Menu service is nice but not very flexible. They refused to buy different tea flavors and told us to buy this ourselves. The main dining room is poorly lit and a bit depressing. We discovered it’s much nicer to have our meals at the large pool on our last day only, unfortunately. Personally we will go back to hotels after this experience, which better fits our standards. If traveling with this company I suggest either Villa Grace or Mexance, because the housekeeper said these are the only ones not run down. And make sure all activities are confirmed and times and details shared before the vacation so you don’t have to talk to the staff all day long.

Really beautiful property!

Our group of 19 stayed here for a birthday week in March ‘23. Upon arrival you realize how sprawling this property is. There are five buildings in all, every one maintained to a very high standard and super clean. The photos don’t reveal how beautiful the grounds are which is a nice surprise. The check in process was simple and easy. The house staff are extremely friendly and efficient, nothing is too much. Special mention and thanks to Abdel & Khadijah. We were particularly happy with the host Theo and the concierge Rabia. They were able to make everything happen, from a rooftop group lunch in the Medina to a fabulous dinner at Bo&Zin restaurant. They also arranged our birthday event which included a DJ, barman, decorations and even a fire eater. And of course arranged all the airport and tour transfers. It was a wonderful fun trip that our friends and family will cherish. Thanks again to Sejour de Maroc and their team. We look forward to a return visit.
