Sorry to hear about this. You did not report anything during your stay unfortunatley, There is a professional cleaning at each change over. I certainly have not had a report of mold. I am at the house and will be for next week. No bugs here. Windows to be replaced after the rental/summer season is over.

Hello and Thank you for your response. I would like to add the water has been tested and it is perfectly fine. However, the color is off putting and is a result of iron. I will have this re-assessed before the summer holidays.

Thanks, Carol, for the review. I neglected to advise that the ACs in the kitchen and DR room windows are not to be used. I installed the split system to prevent the issue. I'm happy you liked the property and the area, though. Sandyneck Beach is pretty amazing

Thank you for your review. The electrical system is up to code, as I purchased the home in May 2025 and the fire department has already inspected it. I am not aware of any exposed wiring in the bathroom, but rest assured everything is fully up to code. The noisy bathroom fan will be replaced. The windows are scheduled to be replaced next spring—I believe you are referring to the kitchen window, which was affected by the removal of the AC unit and a broken pane. Thank you for your assessment—these matters will be addressed after my winter stay this year

I wish I had known. The dehumidifier was in the garage for the downstairs bedroom. The cleaner has put it in place and there is no humidity. The roof had a tarp as the roofer needed to complete the last corner of the repair. It has been com apleted. The exterminator found a dead squirrel, removed it, and exterminated/fumigated the home. There are no more flies, The garbage is to be picked up at the garage every Wednesday. There are 5 garbage containers outside so there should not be pile-up after a week. I do not see any wall bulge. The AC in the kitchen has tape on it indicating not use as it tends to flip the fuse box. Too many ACs running at once. I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay and even more sorry you did not reach out so I could help resolve the issues.

Due to an oversight, our home was rented despite not being scheduled for availability. Upon learning that the property had not received professional cleaning services before the guest's arrival, we promptly refunded the cleaning fee. The guest made no contact or raised any concerns during their three-night stay, leading us to assume everything was satisfactory reasonably. However, after check-out, we received an email requesting an additional refund, accompanied by an implied threat of a negative review if we did not comply. We offered to reimburse any specific incidental expenses they incurred. Still, we declined to provide a further general refund, as the guests had completed their full stay without raising any issues during their time at the property. In response to their review-related ultimatum, we encouraged them to proceed with sharing their feedback through the appropriate channels.

This situation is regrettable. The home had a professional spring clean, top to bottom, after a winter rental for a few months. After the cleaning, I was sent a video; the home seemed to be in perfect shape. When I was told they saw roaches in the kitchen, I called a very good extermination company. They said the problem was very little activity under sink (wood roaches common on cape). After the full service I was given a guarantee. I have had two parties in since then ( memorial weekend, and currently). No reports. I have been told the lights outside are working. There are no automatic lights. The brown water is due to a hard water problem and is not to do with dirty toilets at all. Water softner has been added but the area has this problem.

Let me address each of your concerns directly:Regarding accessibility: I was on Cape Cod and could have responded within 5 minutes of your message. My property manager, who is also local, was available as well. The outdoor grill: This amenity is not typically available during December, which is why it was not included in the standard cleaning protocol. Dining chairs: This is the first time any issues with the chairs have been reported. Without prior notification, we had no way to address any concerns. Thermostats: I personally inspected the units today. They are fully functional, and the AC units are properly sealed with tape. Cabinet situation: The kitchen cabinet door was intentionally removed due to damage from a previous tenant. The parts to repair it have been impossible to find However, the bedroom closet will be repaired. Most importantly, I visited the property today at my cleaner's request. During this inspection, she reported significant pet odor on my rug, specifically dog urine, which has damaged an expensive rug that will now need to be replaced. This was not reported to us in this review. I take property maintenance and safety very seriously. After my personal inspection today, I can definitively state there are no safety hazards present in the home.Please note that any future concerns should be reported immediately so they can be addressed in a timely manner.
