The house is set back in the pines off a quiet lane (Fleabane) which connects to the main road (Ponderosa) just blocks from the Glaze Meadow Golf Course. Back deck overlooks the 7th fairway and is approximately two blocks walking distance from the recently remodeled Glaze Meadow Recreation Complex. Features of the complex include: indoor, outdoor and toddler pools, exercise facility, children's water play area, spa, sauna, snack bar, and tennis shop. Tennis and pickleball courts and a children's rock climbing and play area are adjacent to the complex along w/ full basketball, bocce, and horseshoe courts.

Also, just 15 miles from Black Butte Ranch to Hoodoo Skiing/Sledding.

A WONDERFUL PLACE TO GATHER!

Remodeled space with friend and family gatherings in mind. Our home is light and bright, with a full wall of windows overlooking the golf course in the living, dining and breakfast areas and has an open floor plan. The living/dining area has vaulted ceilings with a lava rock wall and raised hearth fireplace. The kitchen has plenty of counter space with both an island bar area and breakfast nook. Additional features include Sub-Zero refrigerators (one refrigerator only and one side by side), 2 new stainless steel dishwashers, a new stainless steel double oven and cooktop, and all new dish/cookware that you need to prepare, cook and serve your group with ease.

The deck faces east and surrounds the golf course side of the house. It is the perfect place to spend balmy summer evenings and has a gas BBQ, new lounge seating (2024) and a private hot tub(new in 2024). Also don't miss mini basketball hoop, darts, cornhole and ping-pong table in the garage....Along with bike storage with a large selection of newer bikes.

The main floor primary bedroom has a king size bed and doors opening to the deck and hot tub. Two additional bedrooms have queen beds and a fourth has a bunk set and single bed. The bonus room also has a bunk set and a trundle bed. There are three tiled full baths. In total, there are 10 beds (1 King, 2 Queen, and 7 Twins). All beds have newer mattresses (2021) and bedding (2024-25).

THE RANCH: UNMATCHED BEAUTY AND RECREATION!

Black Butte Ranch is a unique resort nestled in a Ponderosa pine, fir, and aspen forest and is surrounded by seven snowcapped, majestic Cascade mountain peaks. It is tranquil and non-commercialized, yet offers a full spectrum of resort amenities.

This gated community has 2 championship golf courses, five swimming pools, 23 plexi-paved tennis courts, 18 miles of bike/walking trails, canoeing, cross country skiing, catch and release fly fishing, guided horseback riding, volleyball courts, basketball hoops and soccer and softball fields. The recreation department offers activities for all ages and will happily assist with information about recreation available in Central Oregon. Mt Bachelor and HooDoo ski areas, numerous lakes, rivers, hiking trails, rock climbing and wilderness areas, and snowmobile parks are an easy drive from Black Butte Ranch.

Three restaurants on the property provide poolside, casual, or fine dining. There are snack bars at the golf shops and Glaze Meadow complex and there is a 'General Store' for quick shopping needs. Black Butte has it's own fire department and emergency medical services. The western themed town of Sisters is seven miles away with a wide array of boutiques, small stores, bakeries, restaurants, a health and fitness center, a nice super market and a new movie theater. Should you want larger city amenities, Bend is about 30 minutes away.

Our family had a fantastic Christmas week here, and the host was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Great BBR property

We enjoyed our stay at this BBR property. The owner was responsive and easy to communicate with. The house had everything we needed for two families with teenagers, and plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely stay here again!

My family grew up vacationing at BBR! We rented this amazing home after our son graduated from University of Oregon this year! This house was perfect!!! It accommodated our large family from the beds, the kitchen, family room, laundry, hot tub, bikes, and of course the views! Will definitely be booking this again if we make it back!!

House was perfect for our group- location was superb. We enjoyed the Glaze pool, tennis courts, pickleball and bike riding.AD was a perfect host and very communicative.There were plenty of kitchen items and plates, glasses, etc.AC was welcome on a couple hot days, and it did cool off at night. Evening games on the golf course were a big hit.

We had an amazing vacation here! This house was great! We had 11 people total, grandparents in our 70’s, parents in their 40’s, and 5 grandsons from 5 - 13. The location of this house is perfect with easy bike rides to everything, close to Glaze Meadow pool, and the home itself is so great for our large group!

Perfect Family Gathering

Excellent property with generous accommodations and amenities. The host is readily available for any questions and truly treats guests like royalty! Very comfortable accommodations and best stocked home we have ever rented. We have had family gatherings at Black Butte for over 25 years and this is definitely at the top of the list for best stay. Annual family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Black Butte this year with our family. The house is in a perfect location to the activity center and right on the golf course. The beds were comfortable with enough space for 6 adults and 5 busy children. The owner was always checking up with us to make sure our visit was running smoothly which I greatly appreciated. My name is AD Smith and my wife Kelly and I bought our home on the 7th hole at Glaze Meadow in 2020. I first stayed at the house in 1987 as a guest of Reed & Jean Baxter & their son & my best friend growing up, Dustin Baxter. Jean & Reed were long-time friends of the owners, Fred & Patty Bennion, and became family when Dustin married Connie Bennion in 1998.

The Bennions purchased the house in the late 70’s and did a major addition and remodel in the early 2000s (The kitchen doubled in size and 2 upstairs bedrooms and a bath were added.) My wife, Kelly, and I were blessed to spend at least a dozen trips to the house over the years as our friends & family stretched the 13-occupancy limit whenever possible. In the early years, we played tennis baseball on the golf course (definitely not recommended by BBR anymore), watched the stars from the 7th fairway at night, & made lasting memories with life-long friends and family. In later years, we brought our own children to enjoy the spectacular pool and to hike, bike, and start new family traditions.

We are all excited to keep the fantastic character of the home, while improving items where possible. We have already updated the flooring in the living room/dining room & all bedrooms, purchased all new living room & bedroom furniture, added 3 new flat screen TVs, upgraded the wireless & cable, updated all mattresses/bedding, installed new SS appliances, & updated all the dishware.

We all have so many fond memories of this home and we are so excited to welcome guests who we hope will build lasting memories with friends and family. We are relatively new to VRBO, but we are committed to offering a wonderful experience for all who visit.
