Saint Clair Cottage is within walking distance of Lake Pend Orielle’s City Beach and downtown Sandpoint. A twenty minute drive to the Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort and two short blocks away from Memorial Field, which hosts the annual music “Festival at Sandpoint.”

Sandpoint boasts miles of paths to walk or bike and take in its natural beauty. Nestled along lake Pend O’rielle’s Sand Creek, there are restaurants, galleries, shops, a winery and the historic Panida Theater.

We loved our stay in Sandpoint. I hadn’t been up in a decade but used to live in the Panhandle and the location was perfect for us. This little cottage was better than we imagined. Perfectly sized, super clean and Jo Ann welcomed us with a plate of cowboy cookies on the counter. With a fridge, microwave and gas oven. We were able to prepare all of our meals at the cottage which saved us a lot vs dining out. We used the cottage to recreate with 5 days skiing Schweitzer Mountain. Will be looking to rent this little cottage next year if its available.

We really enjoyed our stay in Sandpoint at St. Clair cottage. The neighborhood was quiet but close to the waterfront and shopping. Jo Ann was a great host who responded immediately to any questions. Perfection for two.

This property is impressively clean, exceptionally well-appointed and a great location. A short 8 minute walk to downtown Sandpoint, and an easy drive to Schweitzer, makes this a great get-away. There is a loft for small children, but we found it absolutely perfect for two people. We'll be back!!
