Americans in the French Alps
When I booked this property there were no reviews as it was a new chalet. I took the chance because it looked exactly like the type of place we like to stay and it had everything we were looking for (and then some). I can honestly say we loved it and would most definitely go back! Perrine, the property manager, was accessible and accommodating, and the property met our needs perfectly. We are a family of five, and each of our three children had their own bedroom and bathroom. The property itself was beautiful, and we loved the magnificent view of the Bossons Glacier from our bedroom (two of the bedrooms had a view of the glacier). You couldn’t see the glacier when standing in the kitchen but that really didn’t matter to us. We could walk to the chairlift and take it up to Chalet buvette du Glacier restaurant for beautiful views, food, drink and access to hiking. Tons of hiking all over the area. It was also very close to Chamonix. The kitchen was stocked and the washer and dryer (while not what we Americans are accustomed to) came in handy. Just plan to allocate more time to complete loads of laundry than what it takes at home 😉. The only thing I would appreciate would be a few additional towels, but that seems to be a cultural difference between France and the States. All in all a five star stay and a highlight of our trip to France!!
