This custom-built waterfront home on the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix offers stunning views and beautiful woodwork throughout. From the expansive windows that frame the Narrows to the quiet little nooks perfect for relaxing, every part of this home is designed to help you slow down and enjoy Northern Michigan.

As you arrive, you’ll follow a shared gravel drive to this tucked-away two-story retreat. Parking is available for up to three vehicles, per township regulations. Outside, a wraparound porch and a large deck overlook the lake. You’ll find both a charcoal and gas grill, along with outdoor dining space for easy meals with a view.

The backyard is set up for lakeside living. Steps lead down to the water, where you’ll find a fire pit, lake access, and a private dock—perfect for your boat or simply relaxing on the sitting platform.

Inside, the main floor features an open layout that brings everyone together. The kitchen includes a breakfast bar and flows into the dining area and spacious living room. Wherever you stand, your eyes are drawn to the soaring cathedral windows and the water just beyond them. This level also includes a bedroom with a king bed, a full bathroom, and a laundry room with washer and dryer.

Upstairs, there are two additional bedrooms and another full bathroom. One bedroom features a king bed. The second is a larger room with one queen bed and two full beds, along with more incredible lake views.

Whether you’re spending your time on the deck, by the water, or gathered inside, this home has everything you need to create the kind of Lake Charlevoix memories you’ll want to come back to year after year.

Beautiful house on a beautiful lake - close to restaurants, local attractions. Perfect for our fall weekend trip. Bring your own shampoo - we had about 1 tablespoon for 2 people for 3 days. Bring your own pillow if you like soft pillows. We were able to check in one hour early

Great stay!

This is a beautiful northern Michigan Lake front dwelling. With the exception of a few cobwebs on the lamps, it was an awesome stay. Would happily stay there again.

Great location for our wedding venue at the Boathouse in East Jordan.

Very nice open living room and kitchen area for family or friends. Great location over looking the water. The house is 1/2 between Charlevoix and East Jordan.

Wonderful winter respite

We had a delightful stay here over the New Years holiday. The home is well-appointed and was exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace, large kitchen island, and wonderful views of the lake. It is a short drive into Charlevoix and would be even more connected in summertime with the Ironton ferry open. Be aware that the yard and walk down to the water is rather steep and the yard space is rather small. Overall, we had a delightful stay and would definitely return!

Hallmark Christmas in Charlevoix

We throughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful waterfront home near Charlevoix. We had four adults and two teenagers and for that size group it is perfect. We enjoyed the lake view, the fireplace, the kitchen was outfitted with all that you need, and the location was ideal to access other towns and sites in December. The snow was great and did not hamper driving locally. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely return to this property and highly recommend it to others.

Great lakefront vacation

This home was as advertised in a great location on the South arm of Charlevoix for boating. We brought our boat and tied up to the dock. If bringing your boat, bring lines and fenders since the metal dock is not easy on a boat. The location just inside the short no wake zone was great though. Pictures in the listing are accurate.

A cozy home in a great location

It's a beautiful spot and was just about right for 6 adults. The property itself is wedged in close to others with minimal parking/privacy. There were minor inconveniences: no propane, a rusty and dirty charcoal grill, only 5 beach chairs, a firepit on a slope with not much space around it and an AC system that couldn't keep up in the hot summer. The management company for the properly was impersonal with no names given, generic instructions that didn't apply to our property, and everything was very transactional in messages. The power went out in a storm and the generator came on for several hours. The place is very hard to find, which they warn you about. But putting a flag or marker out by the road would help.

But all 6 of us staying at the house got minimal sleep every single night because the beds, sheets and pillows were very cheap and uncomfortable. All beds in the house were full sized only so my husband and I slept on separate beds in separate rooms the entire trip. Not acceptable when you’re spending this much on a rental property. Every morning we all felt sore from the poor quality mattress and pillow and we were very tired due to lack of sleep. Will not return for this reason alone. House was otherwise very clean and staff was responsive and kind.

The home owner offers all of the basic supplies needed in a rental and have never had any other complaints to it being ill equipped. All beds in the house were full sized only so my husband and I slept on separate beds in separate rooms the entire trip. Not acceptable when you’re spending this much on a rental property. Every morning we all felt sore from the poor quality mattress and pillow and we were very tired due to lack of sleep. Will not return for this reason alone. House was otherwise very clean and staff was responsive and kind.

Wonderful rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Place looked just like the pictures. Had a great time by the lake. I would stay here again
