We loved this beautiful, comfortable home away from home. Perfect location for 5 days of exploring museums, galleries, theatre, canal and river and even the spectacular fireworks! Lissa was the perfect host, helpful but not intrusive!

The area is OK and there was spilled rubbish on the overgrown path when we arrived. I was a little worried.
However, once inside, this is a great apartment! The fan in the bedroom kept us cool at night, the kitchen had everything we needed and more and we took advantage of having a washing machine and dryer. We walked across the bridge into the city. There are no supermarkets nearby, just corner shops which sells the basics.

Lovely spacious apartment. The Photos don't do it justice. Its really big and lots of storage.
Location is perfect by the Canadian History Museum and a quick walk across the Alexandra bridge takes you in to all the main sites in Ottawa
Only slight downside is the air conditioning units are really really loud so you can't have them on at night and its really warm in the bedroom.
But this might only be a problem for a short time in the year !

We had a fabulous 4 night stay. The amenities were beyond my expectations. The hotel was central for all our needs. Staff were able to advice/direct us to a supermarket.
Would definitely recommend to family/friends.

Helpful receptionist who actually gave us a better room than I’d booked.
Explained parking well.
Suite was nice but windows didn’t block out the noise of the building works across the road which continued into the early hours - needed my ear plugs!
Otherwise everything else was fine.

Great location, walking distance of the Rideau Canal, and all of the city centre attractions, including Byward Market area (max. 1 mile away). My suite was huge and would have been absolutely fine for a much longer stay as well. It isn't sparkling, and is a bit dated in terms of decor and furniture, but I was well-rested and in reach of the main downtown locations - albeit I do like to walk!
