Welcome to the charming and inviting Whatcha Dune! This peaceful, family-friendly cottage is centrally located, next to the Seaside Chapel and Ruskin Park, and sleeps 10 guests. Equal distance to East and West pools, as well as the stunning beach, this beach cottage offers everything Seaside, FL!

Guests can arrive and park in private parking to spy this light blue, beach cottage, decked out with an open, furnished front porch, as well as a shaded side and back yard, both featuring outdoor dining spaces! Step inside and into an open-concept, airy floor plan on the first level. To the left of the entry, there is a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops and a breakfast bar seating four. A breakfast nook off to the side provides a corner nook for two, perfect for morning coffee! The kitchen blends seamlessly with the adjacent dining area, offering comfortable seating for 8 around a generous dining table. The living room has plenty of seating to accommodate both family and friends and is flanked by the large side open porch and a rear deck open porch, as well. A large, furnished side deck runs the length of the home with Adirondack seating. At the rear of the home, off the living room, is an open deck that runs the width of the living room for your outdoor dining featuring two outdoor tables that each seat four, perfect for grilling out after a long day at the beach! The living spaces are completed by a full bathroom and plenty of storage round out the downstairs plan.

The second floor features three bedrooms, all with private TVs, and another large screened-in furnished porch. The second floor includes a generous primary (king) bedroom with a full bath, a flat-screen mounted TV, and opens onto a shaded screened-in, furnished porch. The second bedroom, a queen, features plenty of storage, a flat-screen mounted TV, and shares a large double vanity Jack and Jill bathroom with the third bedroom. The queen bedroom also enjoys access to the screened porch. (The third bedroom has a crib in the closet for use.) The third bedroom features two twin beds (can be configured as a king upon request), plenty of storage, and its own private mounted flat-screen TV and access to the shared Jack and Jill bathroom.

The third-floor bonus bedroom space boasts two twin beds, a full bed, and a sitting area with a flat-screen TV, offering a special getaway place for the kiddos. Two-story porches run nearly the length of the home, with the first-floor porch being open and the second-level screened, both providing the perfect place to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or afternoon glass of wine. The staircase leading up to the third floor is easily accessible and provides a smooth transition between the levels of this cozy beach retreat.

A few minute walk to the beach and all the restaurants and shops Seaside has to offer. And we were even able to walk to the chapel for Easter service as it’s right outside the door! The staff was very accommodating when we arrived a few hours early. Would definitely visit again!

Being able to walk right out the door and only a few steps to the Chapel was priceless! The porches upstairs and downstairs were amazing for morning coffee and evening happy hours! Location was perfect, we walked everywhere. The kitchen was stocked with anything you could possibly need, and there were lots of books, puzzles and games. The bridesmaids played Jenga while they were waiting for pictures! The Seaside staff was in touch with us to make check in/check out a seamless experience, and were available immediately when we had questions. You will love Whatcha Dune!!!

The house was very comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable sleeping arrangements for all 10 of us. We loved being so close to many amenities with short walks to several pools, playgrounds, and basketball courts. We could be in the heart of Seaside in just a few minutes getting ice cream, coffer, or mojitos. It was the perfect house in the perfect location for all of us. Lastly, the rental company was very responsive to all of our questions and always helpful.

Reviewer Comments: The Whatcha Dune cottage was very clean and well appointed with all the essentials of home! The kitchen had every pot, pan, appliance and cooking utensil you could possibly need! In fact, the kitchen was so well stocked with ‘stuff’ that we didn’t have a place to put our groceries! As a family of 9 with 3 littles, we ate most meals in and it was very comfortable. More kitchen towels and paper towels would have been helpful (as well as toilet paper!)The beds were so comfy with nice linens and ceiling fans made the rooms so comfortable. There were games to play, a large assortment of books and plenty of room to spread out indoors as well as on the patios. The location was perfect with easy walkability to the park, pools, beach, shopping and restaurants! The complimentary bikes were an added plus! We loved it here!

Perfect location, large living area, clean and comfortable!

The beds and bedding were very comfortable. I cannot say enough about what a perfect location this is-we didn’t even need the bikes because we were almost attached to the square! The family room and kitchen felt bigger than the pictures so that was a wonderful surprise. The ONLY, minor complaints would be the size of the washing machine. We could only fit 2 beach towels OR 3 shower towels in at a time. There were 8 of us beaching it everyday so I spent every night doing at least 3-4 loads of laundry. Also for the price I really would expect plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and garbage bags for our stay. There was one roll for the shared bathroom with 4 people (2 bedrooms), which was gone after 1.5 days. There was less than a full roll of paper towels. When I texted management they said they typically only provide the introductory basic amenities. They did bring more since I asked but I really would expect for there to be a full supply for our time there. I would stay here again but would just request those small amenities to be present from the start.

We were grateful for the basket of sand toys and the games inside for family fun nights! All in all, we'll definitely stay here again. We are HoCo loyalists, if that is a thing. The quality of homes is head and shoulders above the other management companies.

It was in great shape except for a cabinet door in the kitchen that kept falling off. Clean and well kept. We will definitely be back. Great family venue

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay in Seaside and it was only enhanced by our stay in this lovely rental. The house had everything we needed and was close to the center of town, shops and the beach was a short walk away. The home is just as pictured and had everything we needed to vacation. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to eat several meals as a group at the table that seats 8! It was great to be able to spend time at the beach and take quick walks back (10 minutes or so) for breaks from the heat. I would definitely recommend this home and would definitely stay again.
