Two stunning houses, moments from iconic Pink Sands Beach, sleeps 12 Adults

Summit Estate comprises a beautiful villa and divine cottage, stylishly decorated with British and Bahamian antiques. The houses is arranged around a truly spectacular pool complex with bar, changing room and garden room. This is a real home away from home but with all the amenities you would expect from a truly luxurious holiday rental. As well as enjoying 360 degree views, perfect for both sunrise and sunset we are also a stone's throw from the famous Pink Sands Beach.
Summit House (sleeps 6 adults and 3 kids) has a large sitting room, fully kitted out kitchen, generous covered porch with a 14-seater table perfect for alfresco dining, 3 double bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a chic kids dorm sleeping 3.
Summit View Cottage (sleeps 6 adults ) has two generous doubles, two singles, en-suite bathrooms, open plan kitchen diner, and wonderful views of the harbour and the famous Bahamian sunsets. The house comes with 5 hours of maid service a day, six days a week, a full-time gardener and a utilities manager. A cook can be arranged if required.

The absolute best house on Harbour Island!

We had the most amazing stay at Summit House!! The house is beautiful, the views stunning, and the location is perfect! Mike (house manager) was also super helpful and responsive. We hope to be back!

Fantastic Summit House

Beautiful, clean and perfectly as advertised. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to visiting again. The only “negative” was the construction going on next door. But even that was hardly noticeable.

House was great for our family. Michael, the property manager, was amazing, a great communicator, and made sure our vacation time was seamless. Katrina was also so great. Wonderful house. Excellent location. Perfect for big groups. Just lovely.

Perfect in every way

We loved the setting/location, very comfortable and well stocked, and so very clean! We had everything we needed and then some: towels, snorkeling gear, warm pool with lots of lounge chairs. The kitchen had so many appliances and abundance of pots and pans. Very easy to feel right at home. Beds were so comfortable and the arrangement of rooms great. Nice to have so many bathrooms and so many outdoor showers. Mike was very attentive and accomodating and greeted us at the dock. He helped settle us into our home and cottage. Having two living spaces was so nice since we had multiple small families and those of us without kids loved the privacy of the cottage. Harbour Island is also just a magical place. I cannot say enough positives about this place, both the vacation rental and Harbour Island! WE will definitely return. Soon I hope

As if paradise could get any better

I’m not sure it’s possible to covey how wonderful our stay at Summit House really was, but I’ll try. Booking, communication and check-in/check-out were a breeze. The host replied to all inquiries promptly, and when we were on island the property manager Mike was always available (even at odd hours) to help. He was polite, gracious, and lovely to work with. He helped us organize golf cart rentals (ready when we arrived), boat hire, and even a last minute request for professional photographer when we decided we wanted family photos taken! The house keeping staff was friendly and went the extra mile, not batting an eye when my 7yo son had an epic midnight nosebleed - not once, but twice. The main house and cottage are perched on top of Juicy Hill, with views of the harbor and the ocean. The pool house was always stocked with towels and the adjoining bath house was a convenient place to wash off beach sand before jumping into the pool or going back into the house. The main house has lovely wide porches on both ocean and harbor sides with plenty of places to curl up and read or chat and have a cocktail. We were a group of 8 and there was ample seating on both porches for meals. We alternated breakfast and dinner on each porch, using the house’s colorful tablecloths and napkins. When you stay at Summit House every detail of gracious living is at your fingertips. You may be cooking for yourself (or they can arrange to have someone come and cook for you) but no detail is overlooked. The kitchen is well equipped, with a Ninja instant cooker, gas range and oven, sharp knives (a miracle in a rental house), salad spinners etc. As an avid home cook there was never a moment where I missed some important tool. It was all right there. Because this is someone’s home and not just a rental, it is intuitively set up and practical. The kitchen opens up into a high ceilinged open living room with lovely squashy chintz covered sofas where we spent loads of time reading and playing games. The living room is flanked by glass doors which can be opened to take advantage of the cross breeze, and helped by ceiling fans. Every bedroom has a bathroom and the beds were so comfortable. The decor throughout the house is elegant and comfortable, eclectic in that fabulous British way. When you stay at Summit House you feel like guests of wonderfully kind and thoughtful people. 11/10 recommend Summit House, my only hesitation is sharing this hidden gem with the rest of the world!
