The bar is not 100ft away, it is on the other side of the wall. It was impossible to get to sleep before 1AM, they are playing loud music all afternoon and night. It may not be the fault of the rental about the noise but the noise exists. They also are clearly smoking in the basement of the bar, and that leaks into the rental.
Great place and location. Walkable to restaurants, bike rentals, The Alchemist brewery and the grocery store near Pinnacle bike rental. Great spot. Beautiful with a swingset behind the property. Pub next door plays music way j to the night. Sing along, wear earplugs or sleep. Great stay!

The noise from the restaurant attatched to the building was awful. So loud it shook the room and our bed till after one in the morning both nights. We didn’t sleep either night.

We had a perfect stay at Stowe Mountain Road Escape. The unit was sparkling clean, comfortable, and centrally located to shops and bars. We enjoyed our stay very much. It had everything we needed for a week stay.

The property is connected to a bar. The music started at 9 pm just as we were going to bed and lasted until the early morning hour! It was terrible. The bed was lumpy, soft and mesiable!

The unit was everything we needed for a short ski trip. It was comfortable clean and had all the basic amenities. Decent location with a restaurant attached and other places within walking distance. Close to the mountain we highly recommend this for skiers looking for a simple place to stay.

The location was great, on the Mountain Rd that leads south right into town and north to Mt. Mansfield. Near lots of restaurants and bars. Better than staying in the town, which was super crowded.

Quiet and middle centered in Stowe
Space naturally well lightened, size is ok for 2 (more than 4). Ideal location within Stowe. The place is needing love to make the experience recommandable though.

Lovely small place to stay near the center. My partner and I loved it, highly recommend as a place to stay with your partner, close to breakfast /coffee in the am then a short drive to the mountain and a short walk to Alchemist and being next to the Blue Donkey was great perk.
Super sweet place to stay if in Stowe for a ski trip. Mountain shuttle stops here and attached to the neon wave ski shop and blue donkey bar! Really nice open space, good vibes, super quiet and chill considering attached to a bar. Perfect location between lower Stowe and ski village.

Perfect Stowe Getaway
First of all, it’s in a historical building from 1839… so cool! Location was great, 5 minute drive to the mountain and walking distance to a bunch of restaurants, bars, and stores. Will definitely be back!
Clean and comfortable with decent space. Does need a little maintenance -- couple nail heads sticking up on wood floor. Windows screwed shut. Perhaps due to ground floor safety? Would've been nice to open to let in some fresh fall air. No dishwasher or laundry -- Not an issue for our stay but worth noting for longer stays. Also note, Vermont has extensive recycling requirements - even some food scraps. There is a small container for food "compostable" items but no regular recycling bin for all the normal plastics, paper and glass. Again, a longer stay will mean a lot of accumulation.Head of bed is against adjoining wall with Burts Pub (worth a stop). Wasn't a huge deal for us but you definitely hear bass music tones. A little ironic considering the "good neighbor" policy in the rental agreement. 5 star location near Stowe - Mt Mansfield - VonTrapp brewery - bike rentals / path ... ALL worth doing while in the area. We'd stay again, for sure.

comfortable & convenient
room was clean & location was perfect on the mountain road. wed to sat was my original reservation. my key code malfunctioned after i requested a sunday extension for check out which was very frustrating! other than that my experience was fantastic. also the blue donkey bar right next door was AWSOME too!
