Recently renovated, this 3-bedroom ranch-style home boasts a modern design, distinguishing itself from our other properties. It features a one and a half-car garage, two bathrooms, and a spacious fenced-in yard. The interior has been upgraded with new hardwood floors, kitchen cabinets, and front-facing windows. Two fireplaces with fireplace glass add to the cozy atmosphere. As our newest VRBO, we also have amazing mattresses that guests ask what brand it is. The removal of walls creates an open concept in the dining, kitchen, and living areas. The custom-made sofas from Floyd and two comfy barrel chairs offer ample seating. The laundry is conveniently located on the main floor, and guests have the option to park in the garage. Since I love to cook, the house has all kinds of small appliances (two types of coffee makers-regular & Keurig plus a small air fryer) and cooking utensils. The TV is a Smart TV with an antenna, connected to high-speed internet, Roku, and DVR. It includes all local channels and allows for recording and access to popular streaming apps like Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon.
We thoroughly clean and sanitize all bedding, including quilts and mattress protectors, between guests. For a contactless check-in process, we provide a smart lock with a unique code for each guest.
Our home is just a short 5-minute drive from the highway, making it convenient for guests traveling to downtown or the Plaza area. It is also within 1.5 miles from Advent Health Hospital and 8 miles from KU Medical Center. Sports fans will appreciate that we are only 19 miles from Arrowhead Stadium (Go Chiefs!) and Kauffman Stadium.
We are experienced superhosts and take pride in ensuring that this property is just as comfortable and enjoyable as our other three properties in Johnson County and one in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Many of our guests return and even reach out to inquire about the availability of our other properties for their next stay.
Please note that for safety purposes, we have a ring doorbell at the front door, but we do not use it to monitor our guests. We only use it if we have concerns about the condition of the house after a guest's stay.

Property was great for our needs. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was pretty well stocked with what we needed, neighborhood was quiet and the host was respectful of our privacy. I would recommend if you need a place to stay while in the area.
Property was neat and clean and well-maintained. I appreciated having dish soap, laundry detergent, shower gel and shampoo, etc provided. Location was easy to get to, in a nice quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay there again!
Deb was a very thoughtful and gracious host! The home was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen amenities were great. It was nice being able to park our car in the garage. We went on some nice walks in the neighborhood.
Located in a quiet neighborhood with ease of access to highway. Major attractions, dining, grocery, and shopping all close. Great place to stay owners were great communicators.
We were in town for a family wedding. The house was centrally located to where we needed to be. It was very nice. Clean, comfortable beds, and easy to check in and check out.
Perfect location to explore KC - plaza, Westport, etc also the perfect location to get to the Kansas speedway for our nascar weekend! House was just as described & very clean! Would stay again!!

Lanny and I enjoy traveling when we can and spending time with our family. We have three children (two sons and a daughter) Plus three young and active grandsons. Right now, they are nine, eight & five.
We really enjoy remodeling our homes into beautiful places for our guests so that they feel like they are truly on vacation or in their own home. Our neighborhoods are safe and quiet neighborhoods where are homes are located.
Why they chose this property
We purchased this property when we did knowing that it was a cute ranch with a double car garage. Ranch homes are hard to come by sometimes and this house has only two steps to get into the house. Even the washer and dryer are on the main level in the hallway behind a sliding custom built barn door that my husband built.
What makes this property unique
This house has everything on one level. Has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Hardwoods throughout and easy access to the highway. For guests that enjoy walking, there are wonderful sidewalks throughout the neighborhoods. And best of all, we are close to Turkey Creek Streamway Trail that is four miles long where you can hike or bike.
