Overall a great week. Good location next to coffee shop, icecream within biking distance to beach. pool and gym were nice. Only recommendations would be the bunk beds are uncomfortable per my boys, battery needs replaced in smoke detector.

1-Star Review: Extremely Disappointing Experience at Family TidesCheck-in was a breeze, and the Coastal Dreamin’ app was easy to use and well designed — but unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. The property may have appeared tidy, but it was far from clean. Within hours of arrival, we discovered both live and dead roaches in several areas, and despite multiple housekeeping and maintenance visits, the issue continued throughout our shortened stay.Requests to speak directly with someone were ignored, and everything had to be handled by email. A personal call or visit from management would have gone a long way in showing concern. Instead, we were only offered to vacate early for a partial refund, which we eventually received after following up several times.Additional emails sent afterward went unanswered, again highlighting poor customer service. It seems this company values bookings more than guest experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry that your experience at Family Tides did not meet expectations. While we never want a guest to encounter issues during their stay, we do feel it’s important to clarify a few points for accuracy. Immediately upon being notified of the concerns, we dispatched both housekeeping and maintenance to the property multiple times, and each team reported that the activity you observed was consistent with a recent professional pest-control treatment, which can unfortunately result in the presence of dead insects for a short time afterward. Even so, we completely understand how unpleasant that can be. Per your request, we offered—and you accepted—an early-departure refund for the unused portion of your stay, which was processed as soon as you checked out. A request for a full refund, including the three nights already stayed, was submitted afterward. Because services were provided and the property was occupied during that time, we were not able to honor a full refund. Since your visit, the homeowner personally inspected the property and authorized a full, enhanced extermination, and the issue has been fully resolved. As for communication, all correspondence was promptly handled through our guest-support email platform so that every request and update was documented and addressed efficiently. We regret if that felt impersonal, but your messages were not ignored at any point. Coastal Dreamin’ is a small, owner-focused company that takes guest experience very seriously, and we are sincerely disappointed that your stay did not reflect the standard we strive for. We appreciate the feedback and have taken additional steps to ensure the property is in excellent condition for future guests.

Great space and location

This accommodation was a perfect fit for my wife, me and our 3 boys. They each had their own room and plenty bathroom space too. The pool complex was great and we were just a short drive to Blue Mountain beach. A fantastic spring break!!

Overall everything was great. The only thing is the mattress are the bunk beds and upstairs beds needs to be replace. They are really worn out. Also need closet space in the bunk room to hang your clothes up. Otherwise all was good. Thank you
