This 4 bedroom house sleeps 10 and is the perfect place to base you East Burke adventures. Whether you've come to bike, ski, hike or simply relax, our home is located just minutes from town and all the activities. This home is newly renovated and furnished with views across the valley to Darling Hill just minutes from 114. The outdoor firepit or the new front porch is the perfect spot to end your evening or start your day with views of the sunset across the valley

The Kingdom Trail parking lot in East Burke Village is a 6 minute drive, Darling Hill Rd. is a 5 minute drive, and Burke Mountain is a 9 minute drive away.

With character everywhere you look, our house has a common living room/dining room downstairs and another common area upstairs. The house has one room with a queen downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs (2 small rooms with twins beds and a large master with a queen and twin bed). In addition to the beds, there is a futon upstairs to sleep the 10th person.

The large detached barn has plenty of storage space for bikes and skis.

We are also taking requests for long term rentals. Please note that the indoor fireplace is for looks and does not work.

This was a great, simple place to set up as our home base for a long weekend. The open floor plan of the main area and plenty of bed space made it a perfect set up for our family. The house is very conveniently located with easy access to local trails. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We loved the farmhouse! It was a good location for us and 5 adults were able to stay comfortably. The stairs to get upstairs are steep, but manageable. The beds were comfortable. Large bathrooms. The owners communicated quickly. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Cool property and great location

The renovated farmhouse had many unique features and art which contributed to create a comfortable atmosphere. The location was perfect for star watching, mountain biking, skiing, trips into The Whites, and excursions to the many excellent small towns (and breweries) nearby. It was a great place to stay.

Lots of charm

We came to ride mountain bikes and the location was super convenient. The home was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed and the hosts accommodated all of our needs above and beyond what was expected. We would absolutely recommend this stay !

Farmhouse with big yard

We enjoyed our trip to VT with side trips to Lake Willoughby, horseback riding at D and D, and a beautiful trip to Stowe. This house provided every amenity we wanted and the beds were comfortable. I recommend this house.Laurie from CT

Perfect House for Bike Group

Stayed with a group for the weekend. Spotlessly clean and creatively remodeled farmhouse. Great location with easy access to KT. Just a few minutes to Darling Hill or town. Kitchen was well appointed and plenty of room for a large group to dine. Properly owner did a great job communicating.

Great stay and perfect for mountain bike adventures!

We were a group of friends looking to enjoy mountain and gravel biking in the area. The farmhouse fit the bill very well! Absolutely loved the Kingdom Trails and all the area had to offer and the farmhouse was very well located, and provided a great home base. A couple of issues on arrival were sorted out well by Gretchen, who was very responsive. All in all, a very good stay. Thanks! We would come back for sure…

I liked it was a farmhouse and beds were comfortable. I did not like the bugs and flies throughout the house the unscreened windows or broken screen in the windows, the ducktaped handle for the microwave, the single ply toilet paper, and how hot it was with an insufficient number if fans and there is no air conditioning.

Belle vieille maison avec beaucoup de style et bien équipée en général mais... Certains aspects a corriger à mon avis au niveau de la propreté, entre autre le BBQ qui était dans un coin de la grange dans un endroit sale, la grange en désordre désordre, et malheureusement pas d'endroit pour laisser nos vélo en sécurité. La cuisine semblait propre mais nous avons eu la visite de blattes. Il faisait très chaud durant notre séjour et les 2 fenêtres qui aurait pu aider à ventiler la maison au 2e n'avait pas de moustiquaire viable. L'emplacement est impeccable, beaucoup de potentiel. À notre arrivée il y avait une pile de boîtes laissées là sur la galerie par Prime, nous les avons placés au sous-sol. Il devait y avoir du bois pour le feu extérieur, ce qui n'était pas le cas. Merci!

Great cabin for a family ski trip

The cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortable, with a great kitchen. The owners were very responsive and our family had a great time while skiing at Burke for a few days. We would rent again.

Great stay, close to KTA

Came with the family to explore NEK and ride in KTA. This home was the perfect home base to relax and plan our adventures. Rooms were well appointed, area was clean, and location was great! The property had a great sitting area and fire pit which helped end the days. Highly recommend!

This is a neat place to stay. We had two young kids with us and the wide selection of games and books for young ones was a major plus. Well appointed kitchen and comfortable living room with a fantastic view. Love the custom features of the house. Convenient to Lyndon center which has everything you could need.

We love spending time in here with friends and family. We live full time in New Hampshire but come to Vermont as much as we can. We've personally rented other people's homes on so many of our travels in Thailand, Panama, Wales and more and love traveling this way!
