Ideally located between Avignon (25 minutes), Arles, Nîmes and Uzès (less than 40 minutes), the village of Théziers is 10 km from the Pont du Gard and the motorway exit of the same name. Towns and villages of character, gorges of the Gardon, unspoilt beaches of the Camargue: Théziers will allow you to shine and enjoy the Midi in all seasons. <br><br>On the heights of the village, in a quiet area, our family home, whose access is completely independent, opens onto a courtyard with trees (fig, olive, plumbago...). It offers from the bedrooms and the office upstairs a beautiful view of the rooftops and the surrounding scrubland. Overlooking a cul-de-sac, the courtyard looks like a patio and is surrounded by old stone walls and closed by a door. Out of sight, it is equipped with tables and garden furniture.<br><br>Carefully renovated, the interior combines the authenticity of stone and a real requirement for comfort: the bedding is new and of high quality, the windows are equipped with mosquito nets, curtains and shutters, the living rooms and the 2 bedrooms have air conditioning for the hottest days. Out of season, the heating system, programmable and adjustable, allows you to feel good in all rooms. <br><br>The 110 m² house can accommodate 2 to 6 people very comfortably. Upstairs there is a bedroom with a 160 cm double bed, a second bedroom with 2 twin beds of 90 cm, an open office with a pull-out bed (2 x 80 cm), as well as a bathroom with bath, sink and toilet. On the ground floor: a fully equipped kitchen (table for 6 people) opening onto two adjoining relaxation areas with sofa, bench, TV, books... and a laundry room accommodating the second toilets. <br><br>You will have all the equipment you expect in a functional and welcoming house, as well as books, CDs and DVDs, maps and guides to (re)discover the region, and some groceries to help you out (please replace what you have used). You can connect to the WiFi for free... but you will have to do the dishes by hand!<br><br>Your favourite animal will be welcome as long as it is well educated and used to sleeping on the ground floor in its basket. <br><br>The house does not have a private car park, but you can park below the fortified church, a 2-minute walk away, like most of the inhabitants of the town centre.<br><br>For shopping (weekly market, supermarket, bakeries, tobacconist/press, cafes, supermarket, petrol...), the village of Montfrin, 5 km away, is the closest. <br><br>For the winter period, from November to May, we include a flat rate for heating, which is normally quite sufficient for your comfort. In case of excess (metre reading at the end of the stay), we will ask you to pay the difference.<br><br>Towels and sheets are provided (beds made).<br><br>The end-of-stay cleaning service is included in the cost of the rental.<br><br>Like us and our friends, we hope you feel at the mill (which was powered by mules, don't look for a river in the immediate vicinity) like home!<br><br>Events: Not allowed<br><br>Non-smoking accommodation, except inner courtyard
